Hi, I'm Sarah. I'm 33 and have two little boys. I'm expecting a little girl, and want to keep my weight gain reasonable. I work full time as a high school teacher, so life can be pretty busy. Planning to fit more exercise into my schedule in 2015.

Yes! I have my goal set for losing 2 lbs per week. I went over today, but I still had a small deficit. What do MFP say at the bottom of your diary? "If every day were like today, you'd weigh..... in 5 weeks." If the number is less that you weigh now, then consider it a good day! If not, you'll need to do better tomorrow to…

bloating is usually cause by water retention. Water retention is cause by getting too much salt and not enough water. If you have reached a healthy weight, switch your goal to maintain, and make sure you don't go over it. Try it for a few weeks and see if it works. If you do gain, then switch it to lose 1/2 a week.

You've seen some good advice so far in this thread. MFP sets your calorie goal depending on your weight and your weight-loss goal. It isn't recommended to try to drop weight too fast, so whether you need to eat those calories or just consider it a bonus for your weight loss depends on how you set your goals to start. If…

My little boy has been waking around 5 a.m. to eat lately. I feed him and put him back to bed and then go work out. I'm not gone right now because I just gave up on him sleeping and let him play on the floor. I'll probably take him and his big brother for a stroller ride later. Also, you could try to find an exercise group…

I admit, I love Burger King. A Whopper Junior w/o mayo is 260 calories instead of 340. A whopper w/o mayo is 470 instead of 630.

Nothing yet. I'm figuring out breakfast after I put it into myfitnesspal. Just water last night.

All set to start jogging again tomorrow. Requested a jogging buddy through facebook. If I get one, I may be starting over entirely. If not, I'm going back to week 3 or 4. Ran a little today, 3 sections of 3 minutes each with walking in between. Went well, so I'm back on board!

So here's the deal.... I recently discovered a certain health concern and can only walk until I see my doctor. I've been doing stroller rides with my little one and maintaining weight. Praying for good news on Tuesday and hoping that will include getting to do some jogging again soon. If so, I will probably be starting…

I sometimes do Bran Flakes with blueberries and almond milk. It's only a little sweet, but super healthy! Lowfat yogurt works too. Fruit! (maybe with Lite Cool Whip?)

Bananas will make the brownies slightly more fudge-like, and stick together better than applesauce. Thawed, frozen bananas should be ok, just use a blender or egg beater on them first. What I tried to say earlier was that applesauce will make them taste slightly sweeter (delicious, of course!), but they do fall apart…

I decided to find a church in 2001. I went to nearly ALL the Christian churches in my small town (16 in all) before choosing to join one. Fellowship and the doctrine taught are both important. Since then I've been to church every week. I have loved being able to visit a church in an unfamiliar place and have instant…

I'm addicted. I did w4d1 this morning on a track. This evening, I made hamburgers for dinner and my husband said, "ooh, I want French Fries!" I told him that I had no potatoes, so I couldn't help him. After dinner, I suggested we walk to McDonald's. My hubby is a speedwalker with super long legs, so I suggested that he…

Oh, and I've also used banana as a substitute for eggs and oil.

I've used applesauce instead of both the oil and eggs in cake and brownies. I find them delicious (sweeter than following the recipe from the box)! The only problem is that they do seem to fall apart and crack sometimes. Do big deal unless you are decorating for a birthday.

Did w3d3 twice today. Yes, twice today. You can read why on my blog later, but in any case I'm so ready to kick week 4's butt!

Did w2d2 today, sort of. I've misplaced my cell phone and I didn't want to pester my husband for his watch again. So I just left the house with my son in the stroller and headed for the Y. I tried to do enough running to make myself work but not worn out. I made it there with plenty of time to spare before yoga, so my pace…

Did w2d1 on a track. The cooler weather helped too. It was pretty easy, especially compared to the torture that was running up and down hills in 90 degree weather last week. For w2d2 this morning, I walk/jogged to the Y. I underestimated the distance I guess, cause it took me 32 minutes and that included a little more…

I did w1d3 outdoors. With a hills. And pushing a stroller. It kicked my butt. But I finished it and kept walking. I had to get back home!

Did w1d2 this morning. Had one knee spasm this time. I walked for an extra 30 seconds, stretched again, and then continued a little slower. No problems since, so I guess it is going alright!

No wonder you've lost so much weight. No one will feed you!
