I'm going with being fit by a professional and finding the right shoe...I say this because I used to get horrible shin splints until I started using a different shoe and now they are pretty much nonexistant!!

I'll be honest, I'm not as healthy of an eater as the prior people...but I look at calories first and them sodium...the calories are a given, but since I've had a baby I've notice that I retain water like crazy so I avoid too much sodium.

I've never tried it, but I've heard several people at my work that have tried it with sprite, Dr. Pepper and regular coke and says it's really good. One girl said she had always wanted to use Diet Coke. I'm sure it will be fine...what if you used Diet Dr. Pepper to give it a little more of a sweet taste??

Yes!! It's funny when I go to log my running at 4.2-4.5 mph it comes up as walking on MFP...hehe!!

Well the numbers can depend on how long your legs are too...I put the treadmill on 4.2mph and most people are walking moderately brisk, but I'm jogging. haha! I bump it up to where most people are lightly jogging and I'm sprinting!! I don't think it matters what you call it, as long as your burning some calories and…

In high school and college I played soccer and softball, but just recently (i'm 32) I started playing volleyball with some friends and I really ROCK at it!! I"m really surprised that I've caught on so quickly but I love it!!

my son had a few weeks of consitipation and we used prune and apple juice. He eventually stopped having it....it seems like every kid has a bad bit of constipation and it's always scary the first time around. I was always too scared to use the syrup, though many of my friends did and it worked too!! Good luck!

something I think that has really helped me this time around is having a heart rate monitor that I wear when i work out. It estimates your calories burned according to your heart rate and it really puts into perspective HOW MUCH you have to work to get the calories off...It makes me think before I eat something.

I'm not sure why this topic was even brought up...to cut down people that use food stamps and make bad choices. Maybe the OP should stand at the grocery store and educate these people instead of talking about them on a fitness website. Sorry...I just think it's a topic made to start contraversy.

Don't know if it's the correct way to go about it, but when i know i want to celebrate with food I will skip a meal...usually breakfast, or make it really small. I know it's bad, but I have to splurge sometimes...we all do!
