get a HRM...it's so worth it!! I run/jog at 4.2mph pace for 30 mins and according to my HRM I burn about 350-450 cals pretty consistantly!! I find that for me, MFP underestimates the cals I burn.

start off slow...I started running like 1/4 of a mile and walking the rest in July...I've worked myself up to 2 miles running straight...i'm a slow runner so it's nothing spectacular...but I'd suggest starting off slow and getting used to what you can do and then building up from there!

I agree...Pick a few things out that you know you'll love and enjoy and eat them in moderation!! I try to limit myself to 3 things in these cases and just eat a decent portion...not too big or small.

That's the one thing I dont miss about my clubbing days!! But I will say I met my husband at a club...he followed me around and asked me to dance 2-3 times until I finally gave in...I wasn't out looking for a guy and he didn't seem my type! But, after 1 dance I was sold! Haha!

Id suggest getting a HRM...I'm not quite sure how a phone app is accurate at giving you consistant, current HR during excersie?!?!

I would say YES. Decreasing caffiene is #1 headache causer! I was so happy to get those over with. I also remember getting headaches as I was cutting calories. Keep up your good work, it will be worth it

yeah, try something like increasing protein first and see if you can supress your appetite without a stimulant or medication!!

Yes eat the brownie!! There will be days that you don't have 400 cals to spare and you won't feel so deprived if you know that the days you do have the calories available you get to enjoy them!! =)

I keep a seperate journal for my work out notes and I wear a HRM on log it all under Cardio on MFP.

I like my name, Audra, because it's not common. It cracks me up that my parents named me after a tv show charactor..Audra Barkley from The Big Valley. My nickname at work has been Audrey for the last couple years because so many people get my name wrong. haha!

I think everyone on MFP is true inspiration for me! My husband is a giant supporter along with my parents who both have kept a total of 150lbs off for 21/2 years! I think the next summer is also an inspiration because hopefully we will be going to the beach and I haven't been in years!

OMG yes...I'd get so mad and try to hit the record button right when they stopped talking...haha!! Also remember getting a cassette player put in my car and thinking i was the cooooolest kid!!
