Have you taken measurements? It's possible to lose inches and not pounds. What's the mirror telling you? Don't let the scale dictate your success/happiness.

I wanna join! I've done the program for about a week in the past and got side-tracked (story of my life). I'm looking to lose 40lbs by next October (wedding). Good luck everyone! I weighed myself this morning. No measurements though. Need to get a soft tape measure.

It's good advice :) Everyone thinks there is some magical number when there is not. It's all down to your body, how it works, what you do throughout the day, your age, health conditions, etc, etc, etc.

Agreed :) I only did it for a little while and I never said it was the healthiest, but the fact that the 1200 calorie magical number is so common on these boards is funny. You can lose eating 800 calories, 1200 calories, 1300 calories, 1600 calories, and in my case, 1700 calories. There's no one right number for everyone.…
