I try to skip the carb lately! Have a big portion of a lean meat (chicken, turkey, fish, etc...) and then a ton of veggies with it. I like cooked veggies rather than raw, so I continuously try new recipes for flavourful veggies (brocolli with chicken broth and lemon juice, parmesan roasted cauliflower, garlic green beans,…

There are also cans of ham and chicken flakes with the tuna - they are always good in a pinch! ;)

You should open your diary if you would like more detailed help. For weight loss, all that matters is how many calories you consume - doesn't matter what time of day. However, I personally find that dieting is easier and I feel full most of the time when I eat more often. Try something like this, and see how it works for…

I'm not at my goal weight yet, but I have gone through lots of ups and downs on my journey. There is no secret to help you keep your head in the game - I am still working on that myself! Just keep telling yourself that you are WORTH all of the effort and hard work!!! ;) My only advice to you is to shock your body in as…

Wow - that's quite a number for only 9 months - WAY TO GO!! ;)

Nope!! Always weigh-in nude first thing in the morning, after using the washroom... Definitely the most accurate way to do it! ;)

Might have been mentioned already, but try PB2... it's lower calories, and still tastes pretty darn good! ;) I don't have anywhere around me that sells it, so I purchased it online (a little more pricey, but worth it in my opinion...)

In my opinion, it's all about WHAT you eat. Try to decrease your carbs (rice, pasta, etc... keep the fruit and veggies though!) and increase your protein (eggs, tuna, chicken, fish, turkey, powder, etc...) Also, try eating a smaller meal every 3 hours, rather than 3 main meals per day. You will never feel bloated this way,…

Cottage cheese (the little fruit flavoured cups). I LOVE cottage cheese in lasagna's and stuff like that! And it's a low calorie snack that is full of protein! Therefore, I keep telling myself that I WILL like it, and I buy it to try it, but get too scared and let it expire... haha 27 year old trapped in a 2 year old body!…

nope, never! i just hang it up to dry, and it diesn't take long! :)

low cal and great for you = shredded wheat (i like the bite sized ones). try adding a bit of sugar at the beginning to get used to it... why cereal though?? lots of other better options out there...

Lots of opinions going on here - but they are just that: opinions. Do what works best for you! If you crave the foods all the time, then allow yourself to have a small portion of them now and then before you dive in and indulge way too much! You could also consider lower your calories by 100 per day, then adding those…

I was the same way before - but challenge yourself and you CAN and WILL get better! Try cutting the chocolate bar into pieces, then storing them in baggies and only allowing yourself 1/3 bar per night. Or fewer kisses, etc... I don't think it's bad to have, but try not to be so dependant on it...

As mentioned before, pasta and rice are cheap! However, when trying to lose weight, they are definitely not your best friend! Try some of the following that can be somewhat healthy and cheaper: - oatmeal - boiled eggs, string cheese & fresh raw veg (just pick the cheapest one available that week!) - almonds aren't that…

Feel free to add me as a friend and check out my diary if you wish. It's not perfect, but there are a few ideas in there. I have recently beeing trying to up my protein and lower my carbs... Try to eat 4-5 small snacks a day (you have to get your brain around eating 5 SNACKS, not 3 meals and 2 snacks). I usually break up…

I weight daily as well (nude in the morning, after the bathroom, before eating). I know that weight fluctuates a lot, and I would hate to only weight weekly, and have that be the "high" day. No harm done in weighing in more often, as long as you are still staying on calorie target no matter what the scale says! Do what…

That really depends on the size of the chicken in my opinion... I usually eat a good sized rotisserie chicken breast for about 6-7 ounces. Search Swiss Chalet Rotisserie Chicken. You will more than like get 1/4 chicken options there... choose 1 for light, and 1 for dark if you have to! ;)

I completely hear ya on this one!! I have been thinking about "how" to maintain for a few months already (as I am terrified as well!), and I still have at least 20 more pounds to lose! I have come up with a couple of thoughts for myself (however, none of them have been tested out yet... haha). My favourite one so far is:…

I know there is more salt than needed, but when I have an Alfredo craving, I will make whole wheat fettucine with lots of steamed brocolli florests, grilled chicken breast, and a package of Club House alfredo seasoning (cooks by just adding 1% milk). I will even top it off with a small amount of parmesan cheese, and it's…

My opinion doesn't count very much, as I have never tried any of these options. All I CAN say is that I feel SO super proud of myself as I lose weight, knowing that I am the one that I accomplished this on my own. Having lost 60 pounds on your own, you MUST know the feeling that I am speaking of!! ;) Aren't you proud to…
