I find diatomaceous earth and insecticidal soap very effective. Another one that I haven't tried yet but mean to is applying a spray of weak chamomile tea... this is supposed to help with flies. Also, I've been told to try cinnamon oil, but I haven't tried it yet myself.

Well, I started out the heaviest by quite a lot, so it's probably easier for me to lose more weight early on. Yes, it is extra motivating, but whenever we work out together, I feel like such a marshmallow. I don't know if you are a Netflix subscriber, but Netflix has the DVD. I decided to order it and give it a try before I buy it. I've heard a lot of people say they like, but also that Jillian Michaels is very annoying, so I better make sure I can stand her before I commit to 30 days with her. :)

Wow... considering we lost 5 team members the first week, I think tied for 3rd place is pretty good. Now that we're back to a full roster and we have everybody working their butt off like this, I think we can definitely make 1st place before long. Go skinnies!!! :)

When you go to zumba, do you wear running shoes or actual zumba (dancing) shoes? It makes a HUGE difference. Personally, I think as long as you're exercising regularly, it doesn't matter what you do. In fact, it's probably better that you shake it up regularly, because your body gets used to doing the same stuff all the time and doesn't respond as well after a while. So... yeah, do what you feel! :)

I think it's all about moderation. If you really think it's a problem that you have this every night, then maybe consider only having it 1 or 2 or 3 nights per week and see how it goes. I did it once when I lived there... took me an hour and 15 minutes just to get to the top and I thought I was going to die. :) I'd like to go back there someday and try it again once I've reached my goal weight and am in better shape to see if I could get a better time.

The Slim in 6 workouts from Beach Body have been doing great things for my arms. That is to say, I did not realize I had triceps and biceps hiding in there all these years, but it turns out I do! And you can actually see them now!
