Perhaps you could put a bowl of water in while you're baking it next time, to keep the moisture flowing?

Sometimes I meet people who enjoy spending time with their friends or going out on weekends to get away from their home and their Honeys... but I think I am one of the luckiest women alive because I love spending all the time I can with my husband and he with me.. going on 5 years and I love the way the Lord changes and…

Once the apartment complex held a pumpkin carving contest for $50 off rent... I did a sort of omage to Oklahoma State with pistol pete, an OSU, and a football. GO POKES! I won too :D

I have been stuggling with the same. I'm doing okay now and I have promised myself to follow my calories for a week. Sometimes it's a mental thing for me and I need to focus on the baby steps. Also.. for me it was the food I was eating.. healthy food fills me up more.. and I introduced coffee to my diet and for some reason…

Don't worry, my brother-in-law and sister both have invisalign, and Brandon (the brother-in-law) has a very healthy lifestyle including ultimate frisbee and jogging every other day. He keeps his teeth and such very clean and has gotten so used to this care that he can do this pretty fast and not in the typical places. No…

I HAD PCOS!!! Emphasis on HAD! ...The feeling of HAD is because of not really noticing the effects anymore. My Doc said I didn't need the medication anymore.... Back in high school I was super overweight.. I had been all my life. Then one magical day I thought I was sick and went to a walk-in clinic and POOF this doctor…

Lol these are horrible. Once my ex-step mother who was really awful to my whole family (i.e. abusive and having some emotional problems) tried to be my friend on fb and I had to write her a long message about how it was awkward and unnecessary for her to talk to me or my brother or sister. I politely asked her to quit…

My husband and I met when we were 18 and 19 at McDonald's. We have been married for about 5 years now, two wonderful kids and hopefully a third soon, and we are so happily married. Marriage is hard work and shouldn't be entered into lightly. We have overcome some very bad hardships and are certainly reaping God's rewards…

I had read somewhere that GENERALLY you had to lose weight for 8 weeks for you to see a difference, 12 weeks for your close friends and family to notice, and 16 weeks for everyone else to notice. I get frustrated too but I try to remind myself of that and work toward that 8 week goal of steady weight loss to see if I agree.

Now THAT was both interesting and helpful! Thank you for sharing that :)

Thank you so much for the input!! I would totally have taken a walk to the store but the Hubby has the van and my kiddos are sleeping lol.... The steamed veggies were in the freezer so I nommed some delicious broccoli. I might have eaten too much but I figure that it is much better that I "pig out" on broccoli than dig…

An entire meaty stuffed crust pizza.. which only comes in large... and an entire frozen Key Lime pie. Ugh I disgust myself. I only get pizza on cheat days and key lime pie... too dangerous.

I am basically the same size as you are... about ten lbs less... and when I started Zumba last fall I lost 18 lbs in a month! I loved it :) I went every day to the gym, alternating lifting weights and zumba every other day and I ate very healthy.

I have also noticed that those who lose all of their weight on 1200 typically have a lot of trouble adjusting to maintenance calories and not gaining weight back. Just a general observation. The slower you lose the weight, the longer you keep it off.

I lost 50 pounds last year eating 1200 and under. I did it in 4 months and it was nice to have success.. and also impossible to hold on to! I was so hungry and I could never deviate but for maybe once a month from the strictest diet or this wouldn't work. It is interesting now however, I am getting back on track with my…
