Started running 3 years ago. I've lost 83 (or so) lbs since then. I have to say it isn't ONLY running though that attributed to my weight loss but it did play a big part! Running, strength training and watching what I eat. Good luck to you!

I ran my first half marathon last year in the spring. My goal was anything under 2:30 but was being realistic and told myself 2:45 with finishing the thing standing being success. I finished in 2:28. Usually pre race or pre long run I eat a slice of toast or half english muffin with peanut butter. Thank you! Looking forward to adding the miles going further into marathon training.

If my day is preplanned and all my food is packed I will log everything in the morning. It gives me an idea where I will be at the end of the day, post workout.
