I don't know that I call them cheat days but I do eat more "bad" stuff on long run days. I also believe in moderation and rarely deprive myself of anything that I want. I've lived this way for 3 years and successfully lost and kept off 80 lbs. Is this the best method?? I don't know. I'm just doing what works for me.

-80 lbs and I feel as though I am once again a member of the Itty Bitty Titty club. Kinda sad but nothing a nice, padded push up bra can't fix for now.

I ran the best 7 miler I ever ran through a horrible migraine. It wasn't fun to start and I probably should have rested but it was on my schedule and I had to do it. Migraines suck, I hope you feel better!

6 miles with my husband this morning. high 50s-low 60s today. I was hot before we hit the 1 mile mark! It's crazy because this time last year we were running in snow and barely 20 degrees! You cannot go wrong with any of them if he doesn't have any. They are all great. I love the older stuff w/Union Station as much as I love her newer stuff. My husband wears Zensah calf sleeves when he runs. He doesn't have shin issues but says his legs feel much better after running when he wears the compression sleeves as opposed to when he doesn't.

My first 5k was 3 years ago - 49 minutes. Woohoo. lol My fastest timed race is 31:05 this past summer. Fastest 5k now is somewhere around 29 minutes and some change.

I did but it has taken me about 2 years to do. http://anotherrunningmom.wordpress.com I won't say it is not realistic to do in that time frame but slow weight loss is more likely to stay off. And sometimes setting time goals for weight loss can be discouraging.

HA! I have the random crazy thoughts on long runs too. They mostly only happen when I run solo though because I'm usually talkign when I run with friends.

If i am running with friends/group I do not listen to music. We talk so no need for music. If I am running alone I do to keep me occupied but only use one earbud and have the volume set very low.

I agree with SF and KB. The best thing anyone can do when kettlebell training is to skip the dvds and get properly trained. I've been using kettelbells a few years and started with 8kg. I can swing up to a 24 kg now. I like a good kb workout but cannot stress enough how important it is to use them properly.

It's usually clothes for me or running gear/apparel. sometimes a mani/pedi or facial. When I reach my ultimate goal it will be large shopping trip!
