Bump! Gotta try this!

Agreed!!!!! Oh that would have been AWESOME!! I have had more than one incident like that in my life. I was walking across the street with my then bf in So Cal (before I went on my health kick then - about ten years ago) and these stupid college boys peeled around the corner, not heeding the fact that we were in the…

Sorry for the late response ladies, but I am SO glad to see more have joined!!! I'm SUPER excited now!!! If you want to e-mail me your physical addresses (I understand you may not want it out on the web for security purposes), my e-mail address is bcfossett@yahoo.com. I will create a spreadsheet and send it out to…

That made me want to stop eating my breakfast. Blarg

I just found a list for soldiers!! AnySoldier.com!!! Oh this will be good indeed!

I detest cleaning. Like, seriously. So I plugged into pinterest and looked up cleaning and motivation. One of the articles I ran across is an article on how to clean your house in 15 minutes a day. I thought, "I can spare 15 minutes instead of sitting my buns on MFP all night." So I did. Now, I don't have a spotless house…

A coworker brought in 20 POUNDS of halloween candy from his kids' takes. Not even kidding on the amount. Massive. I dug through and took out all of the milkey ways. I squandered them and put them on my desk and then I realized that what I had in front of me was over 500 calories in unfulfilling crap. Very grudgingly, I…

I am originally from California (not a fun part, either), and I've been in Texas for the last 6 years! I am in Grapevine and couldn't imagine going back to California...ever.
-
Okay, now THAT made me throw up a little.....
-
I didn't feel the earthquake because I'm from California and in order for me to take notice a building or ten have to be knocked down in order for me to take notice. The tornadoes....not a fan. Even the alerts/warnings kinda freak me out. I'm with you!

Totally the only answer that needs to be given! The punching bag would actually burn calories and tone muscles. The can of Dr. Pepper...not so much. I actually prefer Diet Dr. Pepper over regular. They taste the same and calories are lower, so that is a good option. Another option - when you are stressed or upset - inhale…

Right??? Or carry a gun and brush up on your sharp shooting skills.

I have a coworker who purposefully sneezes and squeeks as loud as possible to get attention. I have gotten used to it. The person in the office directly next to her gets annoyed. And they all wonder why I play my music loud with my door closed.....

Wouldn't it be awkward to post it on here if that crush doesn't know? I have a couple, but I won't give details.

I have it and it is not fun. I took 5 weeks off and managed to maintain my weight (a victory for me for sure). Use a brace every single day. They feel like a burden, but give your knee ample time to heal. Ice it as much as possible (2-4 times a day). Definitely take anti-inflamitories (Advil) if possible. Those are what I…

I eat pretty much anything I want, only within reason. Glad you made it through a weigh in.

LOLOL!!! This made me giggle. I don't keep up with celebs (I don't watch network TV because I have enough insecurities without the mass media bombarding me and telling me I'm even worse than I thought I was), but that is an interesting fact!
-
WOW!! Great job!!
-
I have been close! 3,600!! That was painful to log.
-
I used to not log on my cheat days, and I did a couple of weeks ago. That was a HORRENDOUS shock....BUT it helped me grow. It helped me through a tough moment and it helped me to understand why I was doing it. As far as estimations - I am good at over estimating rather than under estimating. I'd rather log too much than…

Maybe that is what it is. I haven't done much stretching lately and every time I go to the gym my body screams "STRETCH!!!" Then I ignore it and get on the elliptical (there are very few ellipticals, so I have to grab one while the getting is good). Maybe I will start doing yoga a few times a week to see if the deep…

Wow, that's awesome about the running, but the cereal has me scratching my head! I have never been a cereal eater, so if I were to start craving that, I would likely think i were ill.

As I lose weight, I am learning how to deal with these emotions. The slow progress is very helpful so that I can deal with them as they come instead of magically becoming my UGW and not having the opportunity to deal with those issues would mess me up MAJORLY. Today was the first day I saw a reflection of myself and saw me…

Mine prompt me every 10 lbs to readjust my calories/goals. This last time took 50 calories/day with it. My body has a problem with that. It's still adjusting, but today was my first day where I wasn't in total freak out mode.
-
It took me nearly 6 weeks to get my body to believe that lower calories wasn't going to kill it. LOL Give it time. It takes 21 days to create a habit. Your body is just protesting and you need to show it who is the boss...and that happens to be YOU!

Eat an apple. Healthy and provides a boost. I try to have an apple a day (when I have the ones I like on hand - honey crisp or granny smith only for this girl). It provides the crunch I am wanting, the natural sugars give you a boos that won't make you crash, and all the fiber/vitamins/minerals don't hurt either. I have…

I was actually complimented by another female last night on how many calories I burned on the elliptical (733) at the gym. Not someone I know, she just happened to look over when I was wiping down the machine and she said, "Did you just do that?" I smiled and said yes and she said, "Wow! That's awesome! I wish I could do…

I have done this and it took a LOT to get me to peel myself away from the computer to get off my bum and work out!!
