Talk to your doctor before doing anything drastic. Everyone is different, so I don't ever think in terms of specific caloric amounts. But if you would like to stay healthy, the doc is the way to go :)

My kids are also young. 7&4. In no way would I want them reading the nutrition labels on foods. It's not their responsibility to look at that. It's mine. As long as there are healthy choices for them in the house, they eat well. And they don't exercise. They play. They don't need to know that we have all these corrections…

I've owned both. I didn't really care for either one, but I'd have to choose the treadmill over the elliptical. An elderly lady that lives across the street from my inlaws asked them when I was due again. But the worst part is that my father in law TOLD ME she had said this. He didn't have to tell me that :( I know she's a nasty old lady, but I thought it would have been nicer for him to not even mention it to me.

i often eat later in the evenings. If this is a schedule that your body is used to, then don't worry about it. Your body still absorbs and burns while sleeping.

Not sure of your height, but you are nearly the same weight as my boyfriend, with the same goal. I cannot and will not try to tell you how many exact calories to eat, as every person is different. One thing to keep in mind is that her legs might just hurt anyways. When I would go through growth spurts at that age, the pain would keep me up at night. Maybe it's the impact of the running portion causing the cramping/pain? Potassium and magnesium helps with cramping :)

Please don't give up! I am not an expert. I can't really offer anything other than some cheers. But do you feel like you are in better shape? I mean, is it easier now than when you started? I'm sure all you efforts have not been for nothing :)
