  • I would love to get to a size 8 or 10 but honestly would be happy to get to a size 12 right now. Never been that small in my adult life so I am looking forward to that feeling.
  • Wow I totally need your advice as my journey is just beginning. Sent you a friend request! So proud of you for your hard work...love you positive attitude.
  • As one person who did not "take the easy way out" as you say I did lose 100lbs a long time ago and guess what I gained it all back. It works both ways my friend and I think you should really be sensative to others regardless how they get there. One thing I will caution you on is you are exactly how I started to get when I…
  • Did you add an extra 600 calories to what was already suggested by MFP? If so I would say you should not eat the exercise calories. I always go by what MFP suggest as far as calorie intake and then you can eat back the exercise calories. I would think you would be adding too many calories. Following the MFP plan has always…
  • I do understand both sides of it for sure. Maybe your making to much of a big deal about it? If that is all you talk about while you are eating with them it can get a little annoying...my sister's pointed that out to me too. It is not that they don't support you in your journey it is just having it in their face constantly…
  • I count everything including condiments and spices. It gives me peace of mind to know I was actually within my calorie goal and not be guessing all the time. I used to do WW and used to not count those and trust me they do hinder weight loss if too much is being consumed above your calorie goal.
  • Man I wish there was...the stomach is the hardest area to lose it in. You must have a proper diet and do some serious cardio along with strength training. You can do all the ab crunches in the world and have nice hard abs but a bunch of flab on top because of a poor diet and not doing cardio. It is going to take…
  • My husband suffers from them and they are always brought on by the fear of "what if". He will stress about something so much that it takes him into full blown anxiety and panic attacks. He had to have therapy to be able to control them because they were hindering his ability to even be able to leave the house because what…
  • This can happen alot of times when people start losing weight because there is that fear of failure and going back to where you started. However, I would caution you that it sounds like you are getting obsessive about it. It is one thing to be concerned about what you should not eat but when it becomes all that consumes…
  • Got it thanks! Monday: 82 minutes = 813 Calories Burned
  • I CANNOT have chips or cheezits around. They are the major contributor to my fatness! lol
  • HAHAHA that was great!
  • I would love to join in but I have never joined in on a challenge. I have only been with MFP for a month today so I am still learning. If someone can tell me where I post my results that would be awesome. It is starting on the 1st or today?
  • You definately need to change it up a bit. You can still walk but maybe walk for 2 minutes and jog for 1 minute just to keep your heart rate going up and down. I used to do that with my cousin and it helped. Your body gets used to the same old routine and needs change. You might also want to evaluate your food and make…
  • Wow that is a big cheat day! I personally allow myself one day a week to not worry so much about tracking. Now that sounds like fun but that does not mean I don't watch what I eat. I weigh in on Sunday mornings and since Sundays are family days at our house I use this as my flexible/cheat day whatever you want to call it.…
  • Ooops I was responding to dawnw30...I guess I don't know how to reply to a post. Sorry!
  • Awe that is heartbreaking...sorry to hear that. :frown: Maybe he is just insecure that you are going to get too confident and leave him? Does not excuse his behavior in the least bit. Sorry to hear that but glad you are standing your ground because your health is important.
  • I weigh in once a week on Sunday mornings, first thing in the morning before any food and completely naked. I picked Sundays because it helps keep my food intake in check over the weekend and then I give myself room to breath on Sunday because that is typically family day and we eat out after church or whatever. It…
  • I just make my normal dinners for my family and just eat a portion that fits into my calorie "budget". I don't have the time to cook two meals so I decided I have to make it work for me. However I do try and pick meals that are not loaded with high calories. I love websites like www.food.com where you can see the nutrition…
  • I have not had the surgery done but I have three people I know that have had it done. None of them were happy with their decision. One of them is a very close friend from high school and she was super excited at first and lost 60 lbs really fast. What the surgery did not do for her was change her eating habits and she will…
  • I totally understand. Honestly he does love you the way you are but he may feel intimidated by your changes. Maybe he is overweight himself and it makes him feel guilty. He may also just feel a little insecure so just try to include him in everything so he feels a part of it. Some men get worried or insecure that you will…
  • HAHA back boob...that is hilarious.
  • I have struggled with the same problem for years so know you are not alone. I will say that I used to blame my weight gain on the fact that my husband could eat anything and never gain a pound and he always had the sweets around...etc. I finally had to come to a point this year that I was only using that as a way to remove…
  • If you are eating on the run Subway is always a go to for me. I would suggest going on restaurant websites or on this database and finding nutrition information for places you know you like to eat at and find the best choices at those places. Just because it is not Subway does not mean you can't make better choices. Good…
  • We share a common goal to get healthy to start a family. I have PCOS as well and losing weight will help me. Adding you now!
  • Great job!
