I've done okay. I'm Canadian too, so Thanksgiving has been tough. Two full turkey dinners with all the trimings, pies, etc. I've gotten my miles in, but the weight just has not been coming off the last couple weeks. Not sure what to do and getting a little frustrated. Oh, well. I'll just keep plugging away i guess.

I just started running too, and i can run for about 10-15 minutes at a stretch myself before i need a break. And by running i mean jogging. I'm doing about 2.3 miles in 25 minutes. Not bad, but not great. Working on making that a better time, but for now i think that's pretty good. Keep at it, it will come.

I work shift work as a nurse, and 12 hour shifts plus about 40min commute each way. I also find i'm exhaused at the end of the day. I get up at 430am when i work a day shift and go for a run then. I find it actually quite quiet and peacefull to be out running at that time. A little cold lately, but nice. Otherwise i get…

I'm an RN and i work 7pm-7am. I have the same issue. I just make sure that i exercise during the day before my first shift (earn a few extra calories) and then i use those to eat till midnight. After midnight i consider what i eat as the next days calories. Then i eat during the early morning hours and that accounts for…

What if you ate fruit with more fiber in it? Pears are great for the higher fiber content in their skin and are perfect right now in terms of flavor (at least here in Calgary, anyway). The fiber might help to counteract some of the sugar but not sure if MFP will show that. Just something to consider. Good luck.

I would LOVE to join! Motivation has been running a little thin!! Hopefully this will give me the kick i need to keep going! For me 5% of my current weight would be a 7.7 lbs loss so even if i make 7lbs i would be happy!! Lets go team!!

I work shift work as a nurse, so when i work nights i count everything i eat after midnight as the next day. But i suppose as long as you are counting a 24 hour period it should be ok.

Such an inspiration! Congrats! Keep up the great work!

You are doing great!! It's hard to see for yourself sometimes, but just look at the numbers. You are making great progress and next week you will be back in Onederland!

Anything with caffeine actually acts as a diuretic so i would say if its caffinated then no.

Good for you! Looking after little ones is certainly a full time job and i think it's great you are making time to look after yourself! Keep up the great work!

Hang in there, i found the first couple weeks really hard but then it did get easier. I found MFP really helpful in that it keeps me accountable and shows me real numbers (not the ones i make up in head, which i would tend to fudge). I found that depriving myself of things i wanted made it worse. Eat what you want as long…
