I swear by Activia...I couldn't tell the difference though until I stopped eating it. It makes you more regular and less digestive issues if you have them. I don't think I ever realized I had them until I stopped eating Activia for a while, and the symptoms came back.

I didn't have the greatest day either...well, not the greatest week to be honest, and it's not going to get much better. I usually work out at my lunch break, but yesterday we had a lunch meeting at work and I woke up too late to be able to get my exercise in before work (after work is not an option as I have a fiance and…

I still have 10 pounds to go before I hit my driver's license weight. :ohwell: Congrats to you!

My dinners are only around 250-300 calories, and I have regular meals (3 oz. of protein, 1/4 cup of carb side, 1/2 cup or more of veggie). No need to limit yourself to rabbit food.
-
Baked salmon with honey glaze, pasta, and I haven't decided on the veggie yet. ;)

My birthday is tomorrow and my fiance is taking me out for dinner on Saturday, so I am pretty sure that I will have a fat day then. I haven't really thought about what I might order, but I know it will be something delicious and well deserved just as yours was!

I weigh myself every day, but don't get down on myself when I go up and down since I know that it is supposed to fluctuate. It's just a personal preference. I don't log it on MFP though until my weight goes below my last weigh in and stays there. I created a graph outside of MFP to track my daily weigh-ins there. My fiance…

Seahawks all the way! Oh, and the Skins, but they have a bye week this week, which is really too bad since they are the only one of my teams that are keeping my hopes up this season.

I went through that phase where nothing sounded at all good. I never got sick though, just mainly stuck to fruits, salads, eggs, and crackers. Meat and vegetables were repulsive to me.

Except that babies don't have dumb ideas!

Great NSV! I start on Monday. I have been testing it out this week though, but don't want to "officially" start until I can begin on a Monday (it's easier for me to track weeks that way since I generally don't get time to myself on the weekends). Looking forward to the day that I can say that I ran 45 minutes!

That is generally the pattern I use. I will eat close to my goal (either a little under or over) before any exercise "credit". It seems to be working :)

Don't be afraid of eating a variety of things with your meals. I generally eat meals with at least 3 dishes (protein, carb, and veggie), it is all about moderation. I too am only consuming 1,200 calories. For breakfast I usually only have about 200 calories of a protein, fat, and/or carb. I always stick to 3 oz. of…

I love The Biggest Loser for the Wii. It has various exercise routines from beginning to challenging and also there are challenges that stray from a "normal" workout, but almost make you forget you are working out just trying to finish the challenge in first place. Just be careful with the calories burned as they are way…

This calculation actually shows only 2 pounds higher than my goal weight...I'll go with it :)

It's not that my morals are too high for that. I think when I first began this journey, I would say hell yes I would cheat to get the body I want in the long run, but now that I have change my lifestyle and am feeling healthier and better about myself, I would say definitely not. The reward of knowing what I am capable of…

My family absolutely loves this soup. It freezes very well so you could make it over the weekend and have for lunches during the week. Omit kielbasa for a vegetarian version, or substitute with another meat. Lentil Soup Ingredients 1/4 Cup Olive Oil 1 Medium Onion 2 Carrots (Peeled and Chopped) 2 Celery Stalks (Chopped)…

Pork chops with a peanut sauce over brown rice and a side salad.

I am 5'3" and my goal is 125...only 35ish pounds to go!

Homemade lentil soup and a green salad with lite italian dressing.

I just looked this up...sounds delicious! I will have to try this soon. Which flavors have you tried and how would you say it compares to real ice cream?

I will usually have: 2 egg whites (30 cals) w/ 2 oz. chopped turkey ham (60 cals) and .5 oz. of cheese melted on top (50 cals), and 1 small apple (55 cals), total damage = 195 cals. Or lately, I have been having: 5 whole wheat Ritz crackers (70 cals), 1 wedge of laughing cow cheese evenly spread on each cracker (35-50…

Very inspiring post, thank you everyone for the motivation, you all look wonderful! I'm 5'3", Highest Weight 191, MFP Staring Weight 174, Current Weight 164.5, Goal Weight 125 <-- We'll see how I feel once I get there

Did you win?

I have the same problem with every 10 pound increment. If I just keep plugging away, I eventually start to lose again. I am wondering if maybe adjusting calories is the answer since I have heard that for about every 10 that you lose, you should be adjusting your intake. ???

Non-Scale Victory.

Ditto!

3 ounces grilled pork chops (trimmed of fat, of course), 3 ounces baked baby reds with oregano/garlic/onion/salt/pepper, and .5 cup mixed veggies - pretty much the usual at my house :)

That is happening to me as well. I think that it is the change in diet and is something our bodies will eventually adjust to. Even on the days where I feel like I must have gained, I haven't, so now I am just waiting for my body to catch up. :)
