I tend to make my own program depending on what I have available to me. I'm actually working on a new one for the new year, but a lot of my strength training insight comes from Jim Karas and his books. I just got his newest one and started to read it. I'll come back to update this once I have it hashed out. ^_^ Happy New…

If you are logging activities on MFP as well as your pedometer syncing, depending on the settings it will see that you've logged the activity on MFP and will not count what it said your burn was for that allotment of time. So even if you had a high step count, if you logged a workout on MFP it will count that duration and…

I have not forgotten about our winners. I've just finished NaNoWriMo, healing up my feet/knees/legs, and I'm about to reorganize my life again as I do my best to lose weight for my wedding (which is looking like it's going to take place 09.06.2015). I had to drop my job as a cashier and I have promised my fiance that I…

As I know both you and your husband, I understand a lot of what you're saying. First off, I really want to say well done on the 15lbs. I've watched you leave and come back and it's nice to see that you found something that is working for you. I know someone else mentioned it above, but it is possible that he's facing…

Giving everyone a heads up--a couple days ago my boyfriend was in a car crash. I'm not doing so well about it. Long story short, I'm taking hiatus from the forums and groups for the time being to get my head straight and stop thinking about how close that woman who ran the red light was to taking him away from me. I will…

Hello! I vanished again. I'm sorry. It's been really hard to get on the forums as of late. From trying to help an abused puppy to taking care of my boyfriend after he twisted his ankle, I just didn't really find myself in a social mood for a while. Though, I'm getting back into it again. ^ ^ Hoping to see some more faces…

I find that when it comes to eating rice, I use it as something to accent the dish I'm eating instead of it being the focus. So a lot of times I'll mix it with proteins and fibers. One of my favorites is chicken, cheese, and broccoli mixed with the rice in a kind of casserole. The broccoli ends up holding most of the…

It's perfectly fine to reply here! lol

Up to you, Tabi. lol Friday I weighed in at 164lbs. I've been having some trouble these past weeks. Hoping to get back to being on the loss again by this Friday. ^ ^

Hey all! Sorry I disappeared for a couple days. I wasn't feeling well and it was just way too hard to get on the computer while on bed rest. I was stupid and rushed a couple leg workouts last week and my knee is trying to kill my exercise plan again. lol Hoping all of your weekends were better than mine!

Hey there Motivators! I want thinking of something to talk about, and I have been thinking of making a thread in which we can post comparison pictures during this journey of weight loss we're on. This is inspired by Tabitha_Cramer from her blog post in which she shared images that showed her weight loss at every 5 lbs…
