I personally have a wii with a balance board. I use them with the Biggest loser challenge game. It gives me a really good work out. When I can't get to the gym I get to the wii. I have heard the wii fit products are good too but the the BL challenge is actually a harder work out. I would definitely recommend it though.

How about: Why Thank You for the compliment! I got rid of all the fat in my body. Now it's time for you to get rid of the fat in your head!

That's so awesome Jules! I'm addicted to my gym and you will be soon too. Good going!

I usually eat half of mine if my calories burned is high, otherwise I don't

Really the only things that I have given up are fast food items and soda. Everything else I eat(including chocolate and candy). If I eat the "bad" foods then I factor it into my calroies and eat less of other items to meet my goal. Its all about managing your calories. Also drink as much water as you can and exercise. It…

Awesome way to start! You've already taken the crucial first step(pardon the pun) by deciding to do something. I took that step in July and didn't start eating right or working out until 3 or 4 days later. Congrats on being a newbie!

I agree with increasing your short term calories. Also increase your water intake too. I've lost 33 pounds and whenever my loss slows down I drink about 4-8 more cups of water every day for about a week and the weight slowly starts to come off again.

I drink water, milk, fruit juice(rarely) and vitamin zero water but mostly water

How much water do you drink every day. If you find yourself reaching that plateau time, reach for some water and drink as much as you can stand during the day. I've worked myself up to between 14-16 cups per day. Also if you plateau, you might want to switch up your work out a bit. If you're doing zumba try some other form…

I agree completely with jbahrami. When I started 32 pounds ago the weight just would not come off. I was eating right, exercising the way I thought I needed to and saw nothing on the scales. I think it was 2-3 weeks in that I actually started having progress and ended up dropping about 10 pounds in 2 weeks. Since then its…

I don't think it's "cheating" necessarily but if you want to lose weight and keep it off then you probably shouldn't use them. You'd be better off changing your food and water intake and increasing your activity. That's what I do and I've lost 32 pounds so far and plan on continuing to do this.

I have been using the wii biggest loser challenge game and I am always challenged. I have actually lost over 30 pounds doing the wii 3 nights of the week and the gym 2 nights of the week. I can usually burn between 300-500 cals per workout on the wii.

I love it because when I started mfp back in July I was just looking for a calorie counter for my phone. I was able to find anything and everything in the food database. I then saw that there was a website. I went there and saw that there were tons upon tons(pun not intended) of people in the same situation that I was in.…

I find myself wanting to eat when I'm happy or sad or even out of sheer boredom(I have a job that requires hours of sitting waiting for the phone to ring) but I do find that stress makes me want to eat especially sadness stress. I remember when my favorite cousin died of cancer. She had been in hospice care for a month and…

I'm an 80's child so I'd have to say Van Halen "Finish What You Started"

Most definitely. I used to trim my nails maybe once every three or four months. Now I wait a week or two tops and yes I do need another darn hair cut too. That used to last me 4-6 months. They tell me that eating healthy will save me money in the long run. It all evens out with the payments to borics!!! I think I can…

You really need to eat over 1200 calories. I eat between 12-1500 cals and have been losing weight. Also as far as hunger suppresant. Try black coffee. It's a natural appetite suppressant.

I'm a big believer in drinking water for weight loss. I drink between 10-15 cups per day and I'm never hungry. I have plenty of energy and I'm losing weight! The only time I don't is when I have a big salt day which usually resolved itself within a week of high water intake.

Thanks for the motivating words!

2 steps forward and one steps back. Happens almost every other week for me. This week I was under the 310 mark then I did some binge eating and I'm back up over 310. The key here is to keep trying. Eventually you'll lear what your triggers are and learn to make better choices when you see them coming. Don't give up.

If you have a wii, I would recommend getting one of the wii fit or the biggest loser games.

Thats awesome! Check out my post on the 100 pounds to lose board for friday. I had a great day today too.:flowerforyou:

ACDC Highway to Hell. Sounds appropriate eh?

Completely agree on all points. I was having the same problem with being hungry most of the day. I increased my water intake(which also increases metabolism and weight loss) to 8 8 oz cups per day and the hunger almost disappeared. I now only eat my three meals and a snack of fruit in the afternoon. I usually snack on…

I I just posted a comment on a post about not posting on a post. Hmm I'm hungry anybody have some post toasties? Please post on my post!

It really doesn't matter when you start or how far you go on your first day\week\month. Just concentrate on making lifestyle changes. That cheese substitution was a good idea(just watch what kind of cheese you eat). I personally didn't start much at all after I decided to start. I bought some books and read them as well as…

Clif bars are good. I ate the peanut butter one this morning. 270 cals and filling.
