I recently hit a plateau and couldn't get past it. Then I got sick. So I just didn't have the energy to workout at all! But I did still track my calories. I made sure I never went over (okay, once) and the week i was sick I lost 3 pounds. give it a shot

In order to see results we have to sacrifice what we've been doing, odds are, that's why we need to lose weight in the first place. Don't get rid of them entirely, just give yourself a weekly treat, or split one with a friend.

I know this place says 8 glasses per day. But here's a better equation to determine your daily intake. Take your weight and divide it by two. This number is how many ounces of water you should drink. NICE JOB!!! I did the same thing with a pair of jeans this morning! In my opinion when the number on the scale goes down, it's awesome. You have bragging rights. When you get into those little red shorts the didn't used to fit, then you get to wear your success all day. Enjoy it, you deserve it.

It could also be a change in your routine that could put it back in motion. I recently got sick and the fatigue made it impossible for me to workout. I just stayed under my calories and I lost 3 pounds that week. So your body has probably hit that plateau. So I would suggest either a zig zag or altering what your workout…

The rule I've always followed it cardio for weight loss. Strength training for toning, light weight more reps will keep you lean. Hope that helps.
