I have heard all of the fads before - this builds muscle, this breaks down fat and perhaps some of them really do. Research has shown that natural foods actually do it better than anythingi the manufacturers have come up with. Milk builds muscle and reduces belly fat better than any of the sports drinks or protein shakes.…

Totally awesome! ANd I like that you are giving away those larger sizes! don't keep them around. This is a great gift to yourself. When I get to 20 lbs down (at 17) I am going to the jewelry store for a gift to myself. Give yourself a reward (non-food) for the good things!

Wow! That is a LOT of stress! Your biggest problem right now isn't your weight, it's lack of sleep. You need to break down your issues and tackle them slowley, one at a time. Work out with your husband timing. You need to get sleep in larger increments. How old is your baby - it does get better. Perhaps the timing isn't…

I will learn how to show the store to select healthy foods for weight loss and I am diabetic. My other suggestion is go to your favorite bookstore and purchase a couple of healthy living…

Try snacking after exercise, skim milk is good because researchhas shown that milk turns fat to musclel faster than any energy…

Following WW, you can earn extra exercise points (additional calories) - you can use them (good before Thanksgivingdinner, or a rubber chicken event), but you don't HAVE to use them on a daily basis. As long as you eat your baseline calorie goal your body doesn't go into starvation mode and store food for later. Keep up…

I use a package of broccoli slaw, add grape tomatoes for color (and taste). I break up the ramen from a package of ramen noodles, toast them with almonds and add to the slaw and tomatoes (you can add other veggies if you like.) The dressing is rice wine vinegar (about 1/4 c, t sugar substitute, the flavor packet from…

I see some good suggestions. I had to start drinking because of kidney stones. A real motivator. Adding lemon or lime helps, but I find really cold is good. Try this - 1 for breakfast lunch and dinner is 3. A water bottle on your desk at work- 8 oz by 10 a.m. and another by 3 (5 glasses) one after work (6) anotherabout 8…
