I'm in the UK and I had the Kettleworx set, but it was really repetitive (you repeat the same moves over & over) and the instructor got really annoying very quickly. I then bought the Kettlercise one which is better and there is an instruction section which talks you through how to do the moves. I quite liked that they all…

I'm in the UK and there's a DVD called Kettlercise available which is brilliant, much better than the kettleworx one. As has been said, the kettleworx ones were so repetitive I found them irritating really quickly.

I joined a new gym a couple of weeks ago. And I've had several of the PTs come over and introduce themselves purely because firstly I'm the only female they've seen in the weights area, ever, and secondly I'm the only person that does deadlifts, my gym is full of upper body warriors.

Congratulations mariababe! Just stumbled across this group, thought I'd say hi. Born and bred South Londoner which I guess makes me a southern softie

Just got back from tonight's class. We're doing a new routine to Single Ladies which is fun especially as our teacher Matt really exaggerates the Beyonce-like bits.

Hi, I think most people who don't have a HRM log it as aerobics. I use a HRM because although people on here have described burning between 500-1200 in an hour, according to my HRM I've never burned more than 600 and that's going flat out putting my all into it for the hour and I weigh just under 200lbs.

The Zumba class I go to is taught by 2 professional latin dancers, so the dance content is obviously really high, but each class costs £7. So when my gym started a Zumba class which would be included in my membership, I thought 'brilliant' I can save some cash by going to that class once a week instead. OMG! It was the…

Hi, my name's Caroline, I live in London, England and I hate offal. Tonight's class was brilliant, we learned a new merengue routine. I'm almost sad that I can't go to tomorrow night's class as I'm going out with some friends!

My zumba teacher is holding a Sunday morning class on the last Sunday of each month and this morning I had my highest calorie burn so far and the most fun in our class so far. Sunday morning workouts are the way to go!!!

I'm probably too late to give you advice for your first class, but relax and just get into the swing of it. Don't worry about whether or not you're getting all the steps right straight away and most importantly, have fun!

I'm a G-cup in the UK and I wear Freya sports bras for playing netball which involves a lot of jumping. There is a website that only sells sports bras called lessbounce.com I've used them in the past, they're probably your best bet.

Hi from a Zumba lover in London. I go to Zumba classes three times a week at a dance school in South London and our teachers are professional latin and ballroom dancers so I guess our class is more 'dancey' which I love  . There are two of them, one dances on a stage facing us, giving cues to the routine, the other…

Did L1D4 this morning as yesterday I was too sore from playing in a netball tournament on Saturday and I knew I had to go to a 2 hour training session in the afternoon. I found it really hard again today. I didn't complete the side lunges and found the cardio really tough going. I've got spinning in an hour so hopefully…

Another latecomer to the group. I saw the thread on Sunday, was interested in the DVD, read the reviews on Amazon, bought it and completed L1D2 this morning. I'll be doing it alongside netball training and matches and spinning. Roll on L1D3… :grumble:
