I also like to tell them that I'm just so stuffed from the awesome lunch that I simply don't have room for another bite.

I always say that it'll mess up my blood sugar. They assume I'm diabetic or something and leave me alone.

I like to take different meats and then experiment with different kinds of rubs, seasonings and marinades. Then, I serve it with veggies and sometimes a little bit of brown rice. Super inexpensive! I'm broke as hell, so I have to do things on the cheap and workout on the cheap as well.

My suggestion would be to never exercise later than the earlier time you mentioned. Also, taking a warm shower.

I'm on Team Carbs and don't think all carbs are created equal. For instance, you're better off getting your carbs from a healthy FIBER-filled, NUTRIENT-filled chili than you'll ever be with a bag of gummy bears. If the carbohydrate-rich food has fiber (which you need to keep your colon cleaned out (and is a colon cancer…

Tell them "Oh, I don't eat donuts anymore, I just go to the bathroom without washing my hands and finger each of them before you guys come in to eat them." They'll never taunt you again. Trust. ;o)

I wanted 10, but only got 1, but he's the equivalent of 10 so I guess you take what you can get. LOL

LOL...I just blogged about that same thing. Mind twins.

Most of the guys I've talked to (and I worked in a shop with all men) said that they don't like super skinny girls, but they don't like them heavy either. They just like them "curvy" and "healthy looking". By that, they meant they didn't like their girls looking like starved anorexics, rather they liked them looking like…

Unfortunately, not many parents know what it takes to properly nourish their children. They grew up on junk so their kids grow up on junk. By doing these surveys, they can tell you where you might be able to improve. Mind you, my kid ate a huge volume of food according to the questionnaire, but they were shocked to see…

Slimfast gives you HORRIBLE gas. Not worth it. You're better off making yourself full on fruits and veggies and lean meats. You'll feel far more satisfied and it'll be ten times more nutritious.

Are you about due for your period? I turn into a ravenous shark the week before!

I'm trying a new approach, because I don't think I'll ever look like I did when I was young and thin. Now it's: "Well, my thighs look less cottage-cheesy than they did 2 months ago." "Well, now it's just the varicrose veins keeping me from wearing that skirt, not the fat rolls over my kneecaps." "Hey, my feet aren't…

OMG that show had me REELING! I felt like Joss Whedon had infiltrated HBO or something. Also, I'm still disappointed at no full frontal of Eric. I mean, COME ON!!!! (No pun intended. LOL)

Feel free to add me. Beware: my posts contain funny stuff too....(and sometimes gross, hence the user ID LOL)

I don't honestly pay attention too much to the particulars, just the calories (and making sure the food I eat is healthy and not processed) and so far just keeping within my calorie range has been enough to make me feel full and satisfied, while still maintaining weight loss.

Yeah, I can't eat before a workout or I'll puke or get terrible stomach cramps. But, I usually exercise right before I eat a meal, or at least within an hour of getting ready to eat. I had always been told that you're supposed to wait an hour or two after eating before you exercise, because it can impede digestion.

When I start feeling like that, I try to think of a low-fat/calorie option that would taste just as good, satisfy my craving, but still provide the results I need. If I'm craving the kit kat bar, I might opt for a sugar free chocolate pudding (60 calories vs. 250+) If I'm tired of the "blah" and "bland" foods, I start…

Honestly, I wouldn't even respond to his reply. He's not worth your time and energy. He's clearly misguided and/or disgruntled and that's his right to feel that way, but his worldview does not reflect the majority, just because he thinks it does.

First, let me say that it's AWESOME that you not only recognized where you were going wrong, but you ALSO made steps to improve it! Second, my thing was how I'd consume a huge bowl of ice cream, followed by a huge bowl of potato chips (you know, to get the sweet taste out of my mouth...lol), then a glass of…

There's nothing to be ashamed of. I'd bet my life that 90% of the people here have done the exact same things (otherwise they wouldn't be here), so I can rest easy knowing that if I do leave, I can always come back. It's more shameful if I stay away!

I like it with cauliflower!

I noticed my weight loss on my lower half when my pants stopped giving me camel toe. ;o)

1) Plan your meals better. There are lots of meals out there that will make you feel satisfied and full. 2) Cut back on your sugar intake. It makes you crave food more. I had bought some Hostess Cupcakes (my weakness) after going much more sugar free in previous weeks. That week, I was RAVENOUS! Like,…

You need more fiber in your diet. Multigrain bread. Vegetables Fruit

Obviously she's very insecure and never feels good enough for anyone. She's got some deep-seated psychological issues. However, don't let her psychosis make you afraid to do what you need to do in your life, your work, anything. You just do YOU and roll with the punches. And, whenever possible, avoid this woman at all…

Don't overthink what you enter in your food diary. If you have pasta salad, just type in pasta salad and pick one that looks close to what you had. Don't be too anal about it. You'll get a GENERAL idea of what you had and can make adjustments from there. Make sure you get plenty of exercise (maybe be the first to suggest a…

I know the feeling! I've had friends, coworkers and church members say "Wow, have you been losing weight? You look great!" That makes me feel really proud for what I've accomplished and I LOVE it!

I have 50 lbs to lose (though I'll probably shoot for 75 after all is said and done). I broke it down by 5-10 lb goals. I lose the first 5, I reward myself with a haircut. I lose the first 10, I reward myself with some cosmetics. I'm trying to figure out which mini goal reward to choose when I lose 20 lbs total, but I'm…
