I'm curious about this one, so I'll check back on the 1st and maybe sign up. :-) I just want to make sure I'll have time to do this one.

You're in! :-) The ticker will change as you weigh in from your "home" page.

Also, I did it cold turkey (no aids at all). I would go brush my teeth if I was home & had a craving. If I wasn't home, I'd chew regular, sugar-free minty gum (I smoked menthol). It was surprisingly easy for me though... *shrugs* ETA - I am now addicted to sugar-free minty gum though. But I'd rather have that addiction…

I said for a few years that I'd quit after I ___________ (fill in the blank with excuse). I smoked for 10 years (only ever quit for 9 months when I was pregnant). My mom was diagnosed with lung cancer in May. I said I'd quit when she got through her surgery (to remove the upper lobe of her right lung). She came home from…

As a group, we have lost a total of 145.2 pounds since the beginning of this challenge!! I totaled everyone's loss that they have reported and that is the total we've lost! I removed inactive people from my spreadsheet (everyone who hadn't weighed in since sign ups). If you'd like to see the spreadsheet, URL is below, just…

All of these!! Also, when I was a kid, I went out picking blackberries for my mom to make blackberry jam, blackberry pie, blackberry... well, anything. And I got all sorts of cuts from the thorns & I got chiggers & I always had mosquito bites. I played outside everyday & all day, but I got my butt back home before the…

Yep, everyone's right... low potassium = lactic acid build up = charlie horse. Very painful. They used to wake me up at night when I was pregnant (they're pretty common in pregnancy) and my mom has to be on a potassium supplement due to one of her medicines stripping her potassium. Google high potassium foods. There's a…

Thanks so much everyone!! :-) I feel a lot better today, and I know a lot of it is due to the wonderful encouragement & support from all of you. And these dang moodswings are killer. LOL But I did finish strong last night, I did workout for 45 minutes and I stayed within my calories. :-) I even had a little chocolate. :-)
-
Thanks everyone for the boost! I really need it tonight. I plan to do a good workout tonight to get those endorphins pumping, maybe that will get me out of this funk!! And thanks for the compliments as well... those always help too! :-)

I used to wear my boyfriend's boxers to bed, but now I have my own (cute girly boxers) and I bought my own wifebeaters to workout in. LOL

I'm interested in this too... my digital scale at home tells me the body fat percentage (it has these little "sensor" things on it... it's a more expensive one) and was wondering how accurate they are. I'll be watching this post...
-
I have this same problem with my digital scale. And it's a more expensive one and it does all this other nifty stuff (body fat %, hydration level, bone density, BMI) and I really like it, but it does the wonky thing with the weights too... For example (I weigh in every Friday) this morning's weights were: 203.8 204.8 202.6…

Most definitely! But like everyone else has said, it's not going to be like you can just lose fat from your back and nowhere else. Just focus on eating healthy & exercising and you'll lose fat everywhere, include your back! I have lost almost 40 lbs and already see a difference, even though I have another 60 lbs to lose…

They put in a Krispy Kreme next door to the grocery store that I go to every week (the grocery store, NOT the Krispy Kreme). Their glazed doughnuts are ALWAYS hot & you can watch them go through the line and they take them off and give them to you and they are so hot and fresh! Yes, that is the ONLY way to have a Krispy…
