  • I found that until your body gets used to enough fiber stomach problems will be worse. Eat more fruit, especially apples and oranges.
  • I'm the same as you with low blood pressure. I don't worry about sodium even though I'm always way over. I'm a salt addict, I was also a sugar addict but I'm reformed now.
  • Water,Water,Water. If you drink 8 glasses a day like they recommend you will never have leg cramps again. Trust me I know from experience. If you wake up with cramps drink as much as you can right away, in about 10 minutes you will be fine.
  • Click settings then diary settings
  • This page here. Put the fitbit into the base station and click the green button on the page http://www.myfitnesspal.com/apps/show/fitbit
  • No, that's your total calories burned for the day, including your bmi If you have it synced with MFP you will see the exersise calories at the bottom of your food diary and automatically add the extra calories to your diary Set MFP to sedentary and Fitbit will do all the calcs for you.

  • I went thru the exact same thing. It took about three weeks for me and the pains went away. I can't think of better advice then the post above. You just have to gut it out and when your through it you'll be amazed how much less you will eat.
  • You can force your fitbit to sync by inserting it into the docking station. I had a problem one night where it wouldn't sync even with it in the station, used the reset button on the bottom of the station and everything synced normally. I love this thing except for the weekends when I usually lay around and rest from the…
  • You bet MFP works! If your new here please read this before you start, http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12
  • I quit a three pack a day smoking habit in January 2000 cold turkey, being skinny as a beanpole then I gained 20 pounds in 2 months and then lost it in the next 2 months. The benefits you gain from quitting far outweigh the added weight your going to put on. The weight is far easier to remove then the smoking habit,…
  • Love my Fitbit! Especially yesterday when it doubled my exercise calories for some strange reason. And NO! I didn't eat them back.
  • My work is my exercise. According to my fitbit I'm walking close to 5 miles a day and around 11,000 steps plus about 20 floors climbed. It's giving me an average of 1100 exercise calories a day., which I'm eating about half. I have very little energy to do additional exercise after work, especially with this heat wave…
  • I will be eating Mexican tonight in about an hour, I really don't care what I eat but it will most likely be Carne Asada with a side of mexican potatoes. I will also have my three margarita's or maybe 4 and call it a night and then register some bogus number on my food diary. I figure I'll make up for it sometime next…
  • I feel the same, best $100 I ever spent. The motivation factor was a surprise, you always want to beat your best numbers. Had some syncing issues today for the first time but used the reset button and everything is fine.

  • Lincoln Nebraska We have a nice line of thunderstorms passing right over us now, I'm loving it. I spend lot's of time in your state down at the lake of the ozarks, love it!
  • I love thunderstorms and tornado's in fact I go outside during a tornado warning just to catch a glimpse of one. I live in tornado alley and as I type thunderstorms are approaching. My phobia would be dancing! You couldn't drag me kicking and screaming onto a dance floor. I enjoyed the one about static shocks, as…
  • My thoughts on soda pop is probably biased as I worked for Coca-Cola for 22 years as a fountain service rep. I spent the majority of my day taste testing pop as I was fixing dispensers for various restaurants. If you listen to a few who have posted here I should really be dead but fortunately I'm alive and well. As I type…
  • I just started using fitbit yesterday and was surprised at how active I was during the day. I had to change my MFP activity level to sedentary to make it more realistic in adding calories, I agree that it gives you a bit too many calories back. Being an electrician I knew I was active but didn't know how much. No need to…
