  • I like my hair, so I fixed it up nicer then usual. My hubby loves my boobs, so I wore a top for him ;) Something that I can "exercise", is my arms, so I will do some tricep dips today! (Also the the 30DS anterior side lunges!)
  • ^^This^^ Do to the tampons risk of TSS (due to dryness in vaginal wall (caused by tampon absorbing), which leads to tearing, which can let in bacteria). Which I would say is higher risk on "light" aka dryer days. I prefer the cup for the whole cycle! It doesn't have to get filled up and there is no risk leaving it all day…
  • It's definitely paid for itself many times over! Let's assume a "normal" period, the woman changes the tampon 3 times per 24hr-day/night, for 6 days, that's 18 tampons per period, plus approx 13 periods per year (approx 234 tampons) = $67.92 (avg cost per year in Tampons only) (20ct box @ $5.66) Not counting all the…
  • I've been a sworn user for 2yrs, can I help with any doubts questions? If you want to message me, I can answer any "embarrassing" questions  Or I can answer them here  (so others can benefit) These links are not me or mine, just sharing w/more info! A short video demonstrating how it works (I'm at work, so…
  • Which brand do you use? I have the DivaCup. “DivaCup”– “MoonCup U.K.”– “MoonCup Keeper U.S.A.”– “LadyCup”– “Femmecup”– “Lunette”– “MiaCup”– "Mpower Cup"- "Alicia"- “Yukki”– “Keeper”– "Instead"- (disposable, some say not as good as the reusable "permanent" types) not very useful for heavy flow
  • This is me, I could never go swimming (due to leakage) I bleed over 3oz PER day for 7days (pre-mirena that is). To compare a woman is said to loose 3oz over the ENTIRE period (1/2oz per day for 5-7 days). Yeah not fun (very anemic) Anyways, get the Diva Cup! YOU WILL NEVER LOOK BACK!! It has been a godsend for me!!! I can…
  • Week 3 (July 18) Thighs: 43.5 inches (21.75" =L / 21.75" =R) Arm: 22inches (11" =L / 11" =R) Waist: 29.5 inches Hips: 38 inches Chest: 38 inches (171") Difference: -4.5" (difference overall -3.25") Woohoo! TOM/FLO left and took the freakin' inches with it!! Now if the pounds would leave too!
  • I'll have to find my measurements =) Lost the weekend due to friend's wedding, but getting back on track Tonight will be D8L1 (if I get it done) ;) I'm still pretty wiped!
  • I'm still here too! Had a friend's wedding, sorry I disappeared on you guys! Nothing too exciting to report here though. 7/11 = .4mi 7/12 = 0 7/13 = .4mi 7/14 = .4mi 7/15 = 1mi (helped set-up wedding reception hall for over 4hrs! THEN rehearsed!) 7/16 = .1 (danced for over hour!) Total Week 2 Miles = 2.3mi Total July Miles…
  • Cross your arms in front of you, put your arms on your shoulders and pull your shoulders back =) This illustration is raising her head to far, but you get the idea =)
  • So I have a question for everyone. How would you all feel if we modify the plank time requirement? Not because we can't do it, but (I know for my schedule) that the time is killing me. I was thinking we can cut the time in half? 1:30 min for Forward Plank 45 sec for side(s), back? I would like your guys input!!…
  • You guys totally rock! I'm getting caught up at work and then I'll update the spreadsheet either tonight or tomorrow! (I've been gone since Fri for friend's wedding) Keep it up everyone!! =D
  • Wow I missed alot of excitement over the weekend and new people! I'm so exhausted from my friend's wedding this weekend and I've got three days to make up for! Will be doing level 1 tonight and maybe try lev 2 later (some say it's same/if not slightly "easier" or at least more enjoyable) Congrats to everyone. you all are…
  • Hoping to add Day8Lv1 tonight, I'm way off track from my friend's wedding over the weekend! Hoping to play catch up soon!
  • [quote:Cadenpet] I can't take hormonal birth control, which rules out, well everything except IUDs. I love my Mirena I have had it just over a year. My periods were horribly heavy and lasting 7-9 days before. Now, I haven't had a period in about 8 months. And the ones right after placement were very light and lasted about…
  • I believe fiber binds with fat (some sort of molecule interaction) So I would eat some plain fiber foods, also SIP water, gets fluid in your body to flush it, w/o overloading an already upset tummy ;) Everyone has already suggested great foods that I use too =D
  • I agree, (another camper here) Leave that baby at home! =) It might enjoy the rest  I'm a daily weigh-er to, but going on vacation soon and leaving that puppy behind for over a week! I like someone's suggestion, take the goals, leave the scale! Come home happy!! :smooched: You'll love it more!
  • That would be pretty sweet! Hmm, think when I finish the 30days, I met set that as my final goal! Do all three workouts!
  • You need to remove the space on the folder name (healthy_food, healthyfood, etc) Thenlowercase the img /img code =)
  • I think there are modifications you can do to assist your back, you can use something to support yourself and also do it in lesser times, it still counts! I don't want anyone to get hurt pushing too hard!
  • Do you some good warmup stretching before jillian! Your body & muscles will thank you! Also do a little more cooldown stretching after, it makes SUCH a difference!
  • Yes I LOVE my Mt Dew! I went from 32-64oz daily to about 12oz one day every other week (at most) Just a lunch treat. (in the last few months) I drink flavored water now (tap water with a sprinkle of flavor mix to cut the taste (or add taste, whichever) None (related to soda) I actually weighed less 3yrs ago when soda was…
  • You can mix it up and switch off every other day or so =) Your body will let you know what it is up to! My question for 30DS (or 30 Day Shredders) Have you / Do you ... do more then one episode a day? I'm thinking of doubling up on some days when I feel up to it (soon as TOM/FLO leave! lol) I'd like to get caught up and…
  • Yes I gain anywhere from 4 - 9+ lbs! I did loose this month's TOM/FLO by slightly increasing my caloric intake! yay for me! =) Also drink tons of fluids, it helps your body "flush" your system!
  • Yup! The tutorial shows how to cut out the bottoms (an hour glass shape from the "body" of the shirt and use the sleeves or upper part to make the top "cups", then use material from the shirt to make the tie strings, it's pretty slick! =D
  • Have you gotten it done yet? It looks really good on you! FYI!! =D Nice work!
  • That SO sounds like my MIL's situation! As well as the poster who earlier said that children ARE affected by the situation they are raised in. This is so true, nobody has any right to mistreat or make another person feel bad, insecure, NO MATTER WHAT. There are no excuses. Do not let him continue to make you feel unworthy,…
  • Most move up after 10 workout days (does not have to be straight through) But if you can easily follow the exercise, I would move up after 7-8 days if you feel up to it! You can always return to the Lvl 1 if need be!
  • You have done amazing! I'm so glad you pushed through and posted these! It's so encouraging, I don't have any rearview pictures, but I'm thinking I need to start! I want to be encouraged by noticing the change, that is sometimes so gradual, we can't always see it ourselves unless we compare! Congratulations to you and your…
