 Yes to this. I also usually assume the calories are about 50-70% of what is claimed (especially if it looks high), I also check against another site online (I do a google search for "how many calories did I burn doing XXXX" {where XXXX is the activity in question}) I like the ones where you fill in your…

My apologies, I completely misunderstood. :embarassed: Is it easier for you if I just leave it, or do you want me to remeasure? :ohwell:
-
I usually loose about .5" to 1" off *each* area I measure every 2 wks (depending on how dedicated I am to my workouts, ha ha) So before I was measuring 5 areas (legs, waist, hips, arms, neck) & loosing about 5inches _overall_ every 2 wks. So I put my goal as 8inches for this month :flowerforyou: Hope that makes sense!!…

oops! :blushing: I read someone say to lift them up and measure under, so I will need to remeasure, I am , ahem, -way- more then that around :noway: { tiny rib cage < large boobs = ugh }

+1!! And a perfect illustration why both cardio AND strength training are so important! Cardio alone can "strip" the comforter, Strength-training gives you the shape!! (a firm mattress doesn't jiggle!) =D

Actually we're on the tall end of short =D 5' 4" (162lbs) with 35lbs+ left to loose (have my goal 130, but would like to get into the 120's (then tone up =muscle weight) SW = 166 GW = 124 G#=42!

Another vote for Marvin the Martian!! =D "...so he decided to create the opposite type of character; one who was quiet and soft-spoken, but whose actions were incredibly destructive and legitimately dangerous" How cool is that?? =P

Since you already walk, one other thing I do is focus on stretching my stride as far as I can, that really helps slim them down!
-
(tagging) And adding any stretching you can do! Yoga, Pilates, etc When muscles are longer, they are leaner! =)

@paulasuscas01 = What leg workouts do you do? I'd be very interested!!! =)

YES to snug bands! I hate mine ride up to my shoulder blades (I will never go back to VS, they don't know how to handle above-average busted women and don't carry small band (<34")-large cup(DD+) sizes anyways. And YES to back closures, for me, because I've never had good support w/front closure (those always seemed to…

^^^Me at the moment^^^ , when I loose the rest of my weight, I'll be a 32DDD >:( And they are *mine* (I'm too poor for surgery or I'd have those puppies reduced to average!!!) I just had to buy the walmart $18 heavy duty playtex bra (the disadvantage is it's hot) :( I had a semi decent sports bra (till I let my friend…

Yay for measuring!! =D I'm in! So are we going to measure friday AND this monday or just fri? =)
-
^^^ This ^^^ Is why it's SO important to measure inches! Those will move down WAY faster then weight on the scale!! =)

I agree w/everyone that has said use portion sizes, which is more offensive to ask for a smaller plate or to bring your own food? I also think you should feel free (with notice) to bring your own food, especially if it helps keep you on track! Maybe if you can divide it up, one day eat (albeit portioned) the "family" food…

This is me, I dilute it a ton as I don't like the super sweetness of 'full strength', I just need something to cut the edge of the water taste! Also definitely get a filtered pitcher you can leave in the fridge! SO refreshing after exercising!!

The vase says stretch an hour-glass =) Body-wise (when I'm in shape) I'm a lollipop-hourglass. Even though I'm short, I wear longs in my size pants (bell bottoms & flares are my friends!) & v-neck tops! My hubby is 6' and has a shorter inseam then I do at 5' 4" (if that helps put it in perspective) He wears tall shirts,…

This is me! At my thinnest I was (am) a natural 32DDD+ (more so, just can't find it) As I gained weight my boobs got smaller!! I got to a 36DD (my boobs didn't shrink in as much as they did not grow w/rest of me! It's nice though as i don't loose weight off my boobs, I've never carried alot of fat weight anyways. So I'm…

5'4" here =) (when I stretch!) I'm aiming for 128-134 I'm focusing more on inches vs weight, so I'm aiming for a comfortable size 4/6 I was size 2 3.5 yrs ago, but it was a little thin for my frame/liking. Right now I am 8/10 (depends on brand) So I'm hoping to tone it back up!

ha ha ha AGREED!

Agreed! Body hair is SO out!! YUCK. (But I like medium locks on head, just enough to run my fingers through, I do NOT like long hair on guy or bald) But my guys legs & arms are fine =) I wish I could get my guy to shave/wax his butt & belly! he'd be super hot then!

What is it with the doctors? They start you ON birth control so they have something to treat! ugh I finally broke down and got the mirena, I have severe blood-loss (3+oz measured! per day) and cramping during my 7-8 day periods. Mirena has definitely lessened the blood loss (I spot 24/7 instead of bleeding through…

No!! That is why healthy eating is almost non-existent, people would rather cave then say this is for dinner, period. The only choice we had growing up was to eat or not eat =D And I think that is choice enough! (Plus my mom was an excellent cook and healthy too since she had gallbladder issues)

Hang in there =) You've done good! I have to remember myself I didn't get into this overnight, so I won't get out overnight! You deserve much praise for realizing what happened and looking at the triggers! Is your TOM pretty regular (I know you said it just showed up, but I mean from before)? Maybe try and focus on high…
-
Doing some research, there are many triggers (and they are guessing) = some vegetable triggers = fast weight loss!! = stress Hope you can get some relief! I know my husband suffers pretty bad :( We are going to try having him take vitamin C supplements and cherries (fresh whole or 100% cherry juice to mix it up).
-
My husband can do those! Glad to know we are on the right track!
-
Tagging so I can show my husband! He has slightly elevated uric acid and a very painful big toe. Thanks for the tips guys!
