It is homemade chili with ground beef, crushed tomatoes, 2 cans of kidney beans, onions, green bell peppers, and spices. No sugar, cornstarch, flour, etc. The beans are the main culprit, so we'll see how this week goes! Thanks for the response :)

Oh and yes, I am soooo sick of eggs! I only eat them on the weekends now with some turkey bacon/sausage, and then have cottage cheese and jello or an Atkins shake during the week. So far, I'm not sick of cottage cheese yet!

You could totally get a lean piece of steak (filet, sirloin, etc.) and be fine. Just don't get the 10 oz one and maybe get a salad to fill up on beforehand. Have fun!

During the week I usually plan better than on the weekends...I'll make a big pot of chili and separate it into 5 containers for lunch every day, and then the night before each workday I'll put everything together. Looks like you have some awesome suggestions, but wanted to add edamame...I love this as a snack! I am a sucker for potato chips, so the crunchy edamame totally helps with the chip cravings :)

I'm always over on protein and sodium...every once in awhile I'll be over on fat too, but not by much. I also think the protein target is really low.

For protein options that you can snack on during class, try roasted chickpeas. You can flavor them with a salty mixture or Splenda brown sugar/cinnamon if you have a sweet tooth. These are my new fave snack to eat at work!

I am doing SB right now...I'm on week 2 of phase 1 and it's working so far. I do have to mention, though, that I have type 1 diabetes and insulin resistance so this diet is really helping with that.

I agree with the PP's....I HAVE to prepare my meals and snacks and bring them to work or else I will be in big trouble! It really helps me to stay on track and that way, everything is already planned out for me!

My new face snack is roasted chickpeas...I roast them at 400 degrees for 40 mins and give them a shake every 10 mins...then I top them with olive oil cooking spray and Spike seasoning....so good!
