5K is not terribly far (comparitively) I think you can run on Wednesday and have plenty of time to recover. Have a great race!

I started it, but put a hold while I trained for a race. I need to find a way to balance it with weight training as i felt my upper body was losing mass. I like the DVDs though, killer!

I use my smart phone to track my workouts and calories, so.. I'm not going back to pen and paper! :-) I dont' take calls in the gym, though.

I don't know if I'm a runner, but I run. Actually I had my first race today (6.32Km trail race) I did pretty well for an old guy! :-)

I did a "boot camp" that primarily used the TRX equipment a couple of years ago. Like most things it gave back whatever you put into it. it was a nice change of pace at the time.

You can do it. There are lots of tools and support to be found here. Go get that goal!

Hi there. Without being too obvious I would say, generally speaking, lift weights and eat more high-quality foods. Proteins, complex carbs and healthy fats are your friends! :-)
