  • I love it! I know how you feel as I am in the same position. What a wonderful feeling, you should be proud!
  • Thanks everyone. My biggest motivator is making sure my girls have a good example. Think of the great example all of us that are eating healthy and working out are setting for our kids. And hopefully they can establish healthy habits from a young age. I'm bouncing around at between 18-20 pounds lost right now. I…
  • Thanks! I love that someone else on here knows what they are!
  • Way to go. Every small victory is still a victory!
  • Thanks. That set actually goes missing a lot. They are the weights I bought for my 3-year-old because she wanted to "do exercises with mommy". The baby can't get too far with the weights I actually use.
  • Thanks. :) It's also a good reminder to everyone who has kids in their lives that they are watching. They notice when you work out or when you sit on your butt eating junk. And they will (at least when they are little) want to do whatever you are doing.
  • Thanks guys! Congrats to everyone who finished up, I'm ready to see some more results pictures.
  • Hi ladies! I just finished up my last day of Ripped in 30 and just wanted to pop in with some encouragement! I loved the program and I hope you all do too. It was tough, tougher than the Shred in my opinion but sooo worth it. I just posted my results pictures on page 13 of the "Ripped" in October thread. Good luck to all…
  • Ok ladies, I just finished up day 6 of week 4 and I have my before and after pictures to share. Weight lost is 4.6 pounds. • You look wonderful! Great job!
  • Amazing! Your hard work is inspiring.
  • You already know how proud I am of you and how amazing I think you look!
  • Way to go Katia! Thanks for working out with us. :flowerforyou: Just finished up week 4 day 5 here. One more day. I am excited to take my progress pictures. Gotta make sure I don't eat anything that's going to make me bloated tomorrow for pictures after the workout. I am seeing some changes though. I think I'll…
  • Thanks everybody.
  • Thank you everyone! LOL. Thanks. She just had to get in on the pictures too.
  • Thanks everyone. Seeing in pictures how far I've come is one of the best forms of motivation to keep going for me.
  • I'm not sure I'm "bringing it" on anything this week. The whole thing pretty well kicks my *kitten*. My husband watched me work out via skype today and his comment was "looked like the really hard stuff that you make soldiers do when you smoke them". So there you go, our workout is what Sgt's make soldiers do for…
  • Day 3 of week 4 is DONE! At this point I am just looking forward to this week being over so we can all say we did it! We survived Ripped in 30.
  • Day 2 of week 4 done here!! So close to being finished I can taste it! I haven't been seeing much changes either so I took some unofficial progress pictures today. And when I put them side by side with the ones from the end of the 30 Day Shred/beginning of Ripped in 30 I can see very very slight changes. So that's…
  • Thanks Katia and Daffy. We were very lucky. I am still amazed that we fell down an entire flight of spiral stairs with nothing broken and not even a bump on my baby. I was back at getting Ripped today. I do like week 4. I had to do a lot of the modified stuff when it came to anything with impact. Every jump hurt my…
  • I think I'm just doing 5 days of week 3. I just changed to work out and then while carrying my younger daughter down the stairs I fell and went crashing down the stairs with her. She's fine, but I have rug burn on my back, butt, both elbows, one knee and am growing a nice goose egg on my head. I'm sure tomorrow I'll be…
  • Today was one of those "I really don't want to do anything but sit and drink nice hot coffee and relax" kind of days. This is what it looked like when I walked my daughter to school this morning. Frost by taralee2001, on Flickr Doesn't that just make you want to be lazy? But I did it anyway. Day 5 of week 3. The…
  • Day 4 of week 3 is done. The repeated hammering of my quads and shoulders is still killer. Jillian is a crazy woman. Daffy, I really hope the inflammation is just a reaction to the vaccine instead of cellulitis. Hopefully it is under control soon so you can get back to Ripping. Until then take care of yourself.…
  • Carrotz, I'm not really familiar with this "sanity" that you speak of. Day 3 week 3 is done though. During the jump squats my 3 year old got too close to me and my face crashed into her head and I split my bottom lip open. Had to pause the dvd to comfort her and stop my bleeding. I swear if it's not one thing, it's…
  • Yesterday I did not do Ripped. :embarassed: I had every intention of doing it after I picked up my older daughter from school and put the younger one down for a nap. But when I picked my 3 year old up she had received a haircut from one of her classmates. Her first ever, she had long wavy blond hair and scissors had never…
  • My quads were crying by the end of the first strength circuit. Also on my dvd it's like she skips a strength move in the first circuit. Like she does 3 moves and then on the second time through only does 2. And I was left thinking "uhhhhh, we're missing something here." Or maybe I passed out for a moment. I'm…
  • Well yesterday I ended up taking a rest day. So I did Ripped today. And I convinced myself that since this *is* week 3 I should go ahead and move up. I would be kicking myself in the *kitten* right now for that decision, except dear ol' Jillian already did that for me. On the plus side, I did survive. And it is…
  • Day 5 done. Good reminder of why I try to workout when my older daughter is in school and the younger one is asleep. It's just torture with them both here and awake, but I didn't want to risk waiting till after bedtime and then making excuses about being tired. What keeps me going is knowing that lots of people (both in…
  • I suppose I should answer my own question about what's next. I'm not sure, that's why I asked. My husband and I are wanting to start Insanity "together" in December so I figure that I need to build up some endurance in preparation. Trying to figure out how to do that.
