. I just finished w3d1 and I agree it was easier than I thought it would be... but was still tough, felt great though... I can't wait to keep going. I will be so happy when I can run for 30 min straight, no matter how far I go
-
Can't wait to keep it going in september. these challenges are what is keeping me going. Thank you to my team mates

I have a Camelback, and I haven't used it for running, but I have for hiking and biking, and I love it
-
for now I think that is what I can get in, if we need more I will do my best. I need to do 2 more miles for the walk/run but I am going to the beach tomorrow, I know I will get it in on sunday if I don't do a really long walk on the beach first wvualum pledges 1,000 crunches cberndt1987 pledges 1,000 crunches nb9251…

I just finished w2 and I am really hoping that week 3 goes okay, I noticed that my knee really hurt when I ran outside, so for now I am going to do the rest of the program on my elliptical and hopefully I loose enough that my knee won't hurt when I start again running outside
-
It really depends. For me I can't just eat the calories, I don't loose that way.
-
wow I didn't even look at what I typed my w2d2 statement was closer I meant w2d3 not w3d3, geesh I am getting ahead of myself. I so wanted to get w2d3 done this morning....
-
could use some more ideas... anyone?
-
not sure yet, but there was a time when I could run a mile so I am hoping, I will find out tomorrow morning when I get to do it outside again
-
My bad it will be w3d3 for me, and it is going okay although my run is more like a jog
-
Thanks for the suggestions so far, definitely some good looking things

Each week a new thread is posted so that the first doesn't get so long, it should show up on your home page saying that wvualum posted a new topic, every sunday just look for a post from her and you will find the forum

tomorrow is going to be crazy, I am doing my w3d2 c25k; 50 globe jumps; 100 jumping jacks; and 100 stair climbers.... that is going to be one very crazy day. and that is 50 sets of globe jumps right where 1=4 (so it is more like 200 jumps in a square pattern)

well I am not saying I can do more but 3 more of my 10 down, that is 5 miles extra so far from me. mid week and half done I am glad I changed to 10 miles. And I know I will be helping more this week with getting closer to #1 yay for weighing in at 2lbs down this morning. and I am pushing to keep it up... GO TEAM!!!! :(…

From many things I have heard and agree with, MFP underestimates protein. My suggestion... don't look at the protein, you need a lot of it so that your muscles will repair themselves if you are working out hard. You should eat more protein than MFP says, the main thing you are trying to keep under are the calories, sugar,…

I think that is why most of us are here, and the support here is great. Feel free to add me as a friend.

Well I can't say much I have a very mild case, and my doc put me on metformin, yes it is a diabetes medication but my doc told me it can help with weight loss for pcos. I can tell you I don't know if it really helps me loose but I do feel that it stops my body from gaining so quickly. I am sure your doc will come up with…

we are still having rain almost every night so my poor elliptical is getting all my attention, oh well but I noticed my knee hurting a bit yesterday so I will have to wear my knee brace from here on out when I do this until my knee gets stronger again. still excited though. I should mention that I have never been a good…

That sounds so good, and I love pineapple, though I would get rid of the mayo (just not a huge fan) I might find a substitute but I am going to try this soon
-
well is the recipe similar to what you had?
-
Well I did a little searching and although I didn't find nutritional information I found a recipe. and if it sounds like what you had I think you could probably put it in the recipe creator and get something close I think T=Tbsp and t=tsp Beef Chow Yoke 1½ lbs. Okay I am pushing myself I know, but since the path I walk/ jog is 3 miles long I guess I should up my game. instead of my 5 mile pledge (2 of which are done) I am upping it to 10 to finish off our 100. I just have to walk the path 3 more times this week and that will cover the challenge extra mile and 10 miles for the…

Did week 2 day 1 last night, and I was happy to be running/ walking a little longer it was a little easier to me than switching back and forth so often. It was still really hard for me especially since I pushed myself on the last running so I was almost sprinting and it lasted a little longer than I expected so it hurt but…

Well my recipe is more of a party size side dish, but I love it and I first found it when I was doing weight watchers and it was a 0 point recipe so it was something that I could have when I wanted a yummy snack or could bring to a party so I knew there was going to be something good to eat... Low Calorie Thai Cucumber…

I have been on this just a little bit over a week and I have not lost yet, but a lot of times when you start working out your body holds on to what it has until it realizes that you are going to continue with the new amount of food intake and exercise. Our bodies are strange that way, just keep with it and you will start…
