Colorado girl here too!

You are a huge inspiration to me. I started about 2 pounds heavier than you, and while I've lost 20 pounds since then, I still have a way to go. I'm serious now, but seeing that gives me so much hope. Thank you!

I 've have three this week: Monday: a stranger hit on me at the gym. Tuesday: Was told by a coworker she's noticed I've lost weight Today: Discovered my pants were too big and I would need a belt. I only posses one, and last time I tried it on, I couldn't fit into it. Well, not only do I fit, but I can get to the 6th notch…

It seems everyone is really split on this subject. The general opinion is that you DON'T eat those calories back because you need the deficit to lose weight.

Might feel a bit like i was robbing the cradle... but okay I suppose
-
Twin mom here.

I think I know somewhere you're right, it's just frustrating. You bust your *kitten* and see no progress. I know it's a marathon, not a sprint, but it didn't lessen the disappointment
-
I track everything, but I don't eat all my daily calories, and I don't usually eat back my exercise calories unless it's a special occasion.

I always wanted to fully commit to being a Breatharian, but I still drink water on the weekends- I just miss the taste of it! But I think being Breatharian is better for the environment.

I'm at 20% of my goal right now, and I am looking ahead longingly to where you are now. Well done sir, well done.

I just came here to have a good time, I did realize Fifty Shades of Grey, Gordon Ramsey Style was going on in here....
-
I mean if you want someone who can make you laugh, come on over.

Thanks everyone. I am trying to keep it realistic. I do weigh 220 right now, and if I made it to that goal, I might hit Onederland by the new year. But I do want to be realistic. Maybe halfing that goal would be better... but set it by Christmas or something?

I know this is old, but i want you guys to know- I've lost 19 pounds since then- and I didn't try that hard. So :) I think I need to take a progress photo. We will see

Not practical for everyone, seeing as I live 1.25 hours away from my job. However being more active in general is a great idea. So do things you enjoy. Hiking, swimming, biking, yoga, whatever it is for you. And if you don't know, try a bunch of new things :)

Okay, I have personally TRIED it. I lost water weight, that was it. And in fact, once I stopped taking it, I gained all the weight back right away.
-
Hey honey, start with a small goal, you know? Pick the higher end to be your "Ultimate" goal, I suppose, but BMI is not applicable for everyone. Start with smaller goals and go from there
-
THANK YOU- I have literally been on this site six years and had no clue!

My mother bought one of those. Positively tramatizing for a 16-year-old girl. (Which is how old I was when she got it) Lets just say, it doesn't work.

Currently playing Skyrim, again, but what else is new? Started a Khajiit character, and I need to go get the Horn of Jorgen Windcaller. *shrug* Nothing fancy. But this game is life

I'm interested in friends if they have a great sense of humor, like sarcasm, and have sass. But even so, support is nice
-
Also a mom, also obese, and I'm sarcastic. So if that sounds like fun...

Where at in Colorado? I'm in South Park. Not kidding, I really am.

I find the best way to stay on the road is to keep your hands at ten and two, put your phone down, and remember not to drink before driving. All jokes aside, you can apply two of those to dieting: Ten and two: focus on your goals. Focus gets you results. And you'll be less likely to slip if you remember why you want it.…

Hey! So it's a free sight, very much like MFP, but they provide specific workout plans tailored to your goals, like how they tailor your calorie count here. It's a neat sight, don't get me wrong, I'm just really intimidated.

When I saw this quote, my heart kinda broke a little. I'm sorry for whatever salon experience you must have had to assume that cosmetologists have drug/alcohol problems, but I can assure you that the young women and men I work with do not abuse such substances at work. I, myself, have never done any drugs nor even…

Thank you so much for your help! I think eating breakfast is going to be the best bet!

I have never been to Egypt. And it makes me sad. :(

They had me on birth control for a little while, but that wasn't for my period. they did it because I was getting married. they said that my irregular period wasn't much to worry about since i WAS having one once in a while. They said if I went more than a year without having a cycle then to come back and see them

I found standing naked in front of a full-length mirror and scrutinizing myself is always a motivator, but I wouldn't say it's the best for my self-esteem. You're always your harshest critic after all.
