I'm 24, soon to be 25. Feel free to add me :flowerforyou:

Your picture gives me SO MUCH HOPE! I started at 243 and am down almost 20 lbs but I don't feel like I look any different :( I'm excited to get to the 100's if I have results as good as you :flowerforyou: Great job!!!

My nutritionist told me that the brain can't differentiate well enough between thirst and hunger -- so when you think you're hungry, try drinking a bunch of water first and give it a while to see if that calms the urge. It usually helps for me :/ Hope you find the answer you're looking for!

I'm on day 11 of 30 Day Shred and while I've DEFINITELY lost inches (3" in my stomach alone), I still have a definite 'crease' where my stomach has hung over for so many years. I can tell that I'm losing inches around, but as hard as I work out, I haven't noticed the flap that I have going anywhere :( I'm terrified that I…

I've been overweight pretty much my entire life. I was average as a toddler/preschooler and then gained from there. The only other time in my life I considered myself 'skinny' was after a spinal surgery at 13 years of age with a month of bed rest and feeling too ill to eat. I was still 145 lbs then and was far from…

I've lost a sperm whale's brain...good to know!

Congrats! I can't wait to hit that milestone! :drinker:

For me, it didn't seem to matter because once I started eating closer to my suggested daily caloric intake, I gained the weight back like crazy. I ate fruits and veggies and ate extremely well for weeks, and it just didn't matter. My body held on to everything for dear life because it had been deprived while I was on the…

My doctor prescribed it to me after several years of battling my weight. I know EXACTLY how you feel and I don't want to sugar coat it for you because I think you need the honest truth. I felt AWFUL after a few months of taking it. It suppressed my appetite to almost nothing and I was getting weak and could no longer work…

You absolutely can...I did. I lost 42 lbs in 3 1/2 months eating mostly crap but staying under my calorie intake. I exercised occasionally but not nearly as often or as hard as I could have. I wasn't any HEALTHIER. I still got winded going up the stairs and I wasn't any stronger either. It's also not maintainable weight…

I started July 1 but I would TOTALLY join a group if you started one :)

I hate that she says 'even 400 lb people do jumping jacks'. It just rubs me the wrong way. I friend of mine who is a personal trainer had told me, due to past knee surgery, to modify jumping jacks by stepping to the side, switching legs on every jump. Still lift your arms over your head and give as much 'bounce' to the…

You look FANTASTIC! You are SUCH an inspiration to me!!!

Just keep your head high and know that you are doing this for YOURSELF -- no one else. It will take a time or two to get comfortable, but after a while you will get such a rush from a good workout, that it won't even matter anymore ;) Good luck!

I DO like Torrid! I have a few dresses and cute tanks from there -- I just can't wait until I don't need to shop there for stylish clothes anymore :/ Would you mind if I friended you on here? :flowerforyou:

That's FANTASTIC! CONGRATS!!! :drinker:

Feel free to add me! I've lost the same weight several times in the past :( For some reason I just stopped one day and said 'enough is enough' and haven't looked back...yet! I need all the motivation I can get and I enjoy giving it too :)

This thread could go on FOREVER as far as I'm concerned! :drinker:

Way to go! I can't wait until I can make the same discovery :) BTW I am in LOVE with your dress in your profile pic! Dresses never look that good on me :/

I'm 5'6" and have a 7.25" wrist. I was told by my doc that I'm large framed and I think I would honestly feel comfortable between 160-170. I know that's probably still too much as my BMI would still be in the overweight category :/ If I get there and feel that I need to go further, then I will.

You look great! Congrats and thanks so much for posting -- definitely an inspiration :)

I'm a 40DD and I absolutely LOVE Champion brand sports bras. They come as large as XXXL! As long as it's a first time wear (haven't worn it all day and stretched it out -- or if it's straight from the laundry) I don't find that I need to double up on them. Then again, I'm not a runner yet so I don't have quite the bounce…

You are SUCH an inspiration to me -- thank you so much for posting :D

You look fantastic! And adorable dress ;) I can't wait to take pics in my old dresses! You are an inspiration to me :D :D :D

Hummus with carrots or pita chips, string cheese, air popped popcorn, yogurt with fruit and/or granola. I sometimes splurge and go for goldfish crackers or Cheeseits :) I love pickles too but you have to be careful with the sodium. I also keep a bar of dark chocolate in the freezer so I can break of a small chunk (for…

I'm 5'6" and my goal is 160 lbs. I would still be overweight according to my BMI, but this is my main goal -- I will build on it from there :)
