  • Wow, that would be really tough without an oven! Good luck! Here is what I usually eat for my 1200 cal/day: Breakfast: Yogurt and coffee with creamer Snack: Apple or banana Lunch: Leftovers from dinner or salad Snack: Popcorn Dinner: Some kind of meat option with veggies or sweet potato fries, most often baked chicken. My…
  • This is why we can't have nice things.
  • Got out of bed and drove through the snowstorm to make it to bootcamp! Hardest part was lunging with a medicine ball for 50 yards, drop the ball and sprint back, then jog back to the ball. We did it four times and I am really proud of that workout this morning!
  • I started at 167 and got down to 140 with muscle before slowly gaining 10 lbs this year. I like the way I feel at 140 but UGW would probably be 125.
  • Go for a ~30 min walk with a bottle of water and come back to make a 300 cal dinner.
  • I'm only drinking water for October! ( Sept 30 - Oct 30 FWIW) I'm saving that wine I love so much and the morning coffee I depend on... I am super goal oriented so I think it will be fun and challenging!
  • Probably around $140 per month. I have a routine of going grocery shopping every Sunday night and now that my boyfriend comes with me, we buy everything separately but split the dinner items so my tab comes out to $30-35. My breakdown per day is usually $1 for breakfast, $2 for lunch, and the rest on dinner and random…
  • I used to get up every morning and head to the gym before work but after marathon training the extra sleep felt so amazing and I fell off the wagon. Every time I get to the gym early I realize how great it makes me feel. I'm gonna start going early again...Monday look out, I'm coming for ya!
  • OCSOBER? That is absolutely genius, I am in. My bf and I have planned a fun weekend in the middle of October but I think this will be good for me. And I've thought about only drinking water for a month as a challenge so this is my chance!
  • To feel comfortable in a bikini or go hiking in a sports bra.
  • I try to eat non processed foods now...head straight to dairy and produce, I don't even bother with the freezer section. BUT, I always say that if I could eat one food and not give a **** about gaining weight it would be powdered donuts! Since I started running, I burn at least 1000 calories every saturday so I let myself…
  • Wake up at 5:30 and am on the treadmill by 6. I try to be in bed by 10 which is hard for a 22 year old recent grad. I was NEVER a morning person but the gym is so much calmer in the mornings, and easier to be dedicated. Like some of the others, I also have my stuff ready to go the night before so all I have to do is zombie…
  • I have bought an expensive size 4 dress that was on sale for $20 during Christmas and I can already fit into it, just one more size to go and it'll look perfect! And I haven't bought any more real clothes yet, all my old ones are falling off of me but I don't want to invest until I am at my UGW. My prize will be a new…
  • SW: 167 CW: 146 GW: 135 UGW: Flat stomach!
  • I don't consider it a "cheat day" either. Every Sunday I go for my long run (usually 5-12 miles) and with about 100 cal/mile I am fairly certain I deserve to eat whatever I want for just that one meal. Paying attention to the fuel I get before and after the run isn't that hard so at night I usually have a few glasses of…
  • I'm super pumped to run my first half in Denver in March. I just started running in August and it is SUPER addicting but I hated running all my life because I was never good at it. Once I saw improvement I wasn't afraid anymore. Yesterday I went for my longest run ever (6 miles) and it wasn't bad at all. I always feel like…
  • Yea I'm down to start this again! I bought it a few months ago and did it for two weeks before I got bored. It was really challenging and I thought I was in pretty good shape so that wasn't the issue but I might as well pick it back up again. That's so great that people are already seeing differences in their clothes and…
  • I have found that it is hard for me to reach 1200 calories a lot of the time. I snack when I am hungry, mostly almonds at work so I don't snack on the candy dish but at night I find myself having to fill calories by drinking milk or something. It just feels pointless to eat when I am not hungry. I usually don't eat back my…
