Thank you for sharing your story! You have come a long way!

I don't really have recipes. I cook as I go along. For vegan lasagna, I use extra firm tofu and process it with nutritional yeast, spinach, basil or homemade pesto, and sometimes a package of frozen cooked butternut squash. That's what I use in place of ricotta.

You look fantastic. Good job!

Side crunches for the obliques by bracing my feet on the wall. Also, jackknifes. Search stability ball exercises on Youtube. There are a lot of them.
-
That's a great one. I've had that one too. Congrats!

It's a weight I was once upon a time.
-
Not sure what to tell you, but love your ticker. Huge DB and Labyrinth fan.

A few years ago when I lost weight, I initially lost weight without one, but after I got one, I was able to intensify my workouts. I realized I had been wussing out a lot, and knowing my target heart rate helps me push myself better.

So, I hit up the thrift store yesterday, and I ended up really getting lucky and actually finding some that fit me. I will get most of them tailored which I don't mind doing for a 5 dollar shirt. Two of them I'm going to try the sew up method since they are a little stretchy and I think will work well with that method.
-
That's actually a great idea. I might try that!

Back from being out of town for the funeral. Will start up the challenge again tomorrow.

The great thing about short hair: it makes you look stylish and pulled together with little to no effort. The bad thing about short hair: you're basically stuck with one style, and there's not much versatility. I have run the gamut between a nearly shaved head all the way to bra strap length.

I have my study schedule all set for when classes start. I'm a commuter student, and I'm going to rent a locker at school, workout twice a week probably Tues and Thurs either right in the middle of the day or at the end of the day. I'm going to workout at my local gym on Sat and Sun.

Ok, so mostly everyone is being good about logging in. I think that in and of itself is a hard challenge for busy college students. So, just a reminder to anyone who is not logging in: do your best to log in and even if you're not eating healthy, log what you're eating. It might save you from a really bad binge or worse.

Wow, if you go up 11 floors, you're my hero. My first day is not until the 19th.
-
Sorry I missed this the other day. Does the building your long class is in have a microwave? If so, soup with a half sandwich might work.
-
Did the mountain climbers and the crunches in addition to a strength routine.

Second batch.

Second batch.

So far. . . the before was taken a couple weeks into this, so it's not a true before. Taking another set soon.
-
Congrats on your victory!

So far, I did the swimmer things and walked .6 miles. Not sure I'm going to get the other walking done today. Also, I might not earn 5 points for the team this week as I'll be dealing with funeral stuff because my hubby's granny passed today.
-
Here's what I've got so far. . . only 3 weeks because I took my first picture after I was already doing this about 2 weeks I'm exactly 5'5"
-
I'm confused about something. Part of the description for the team getting points is to not go over calories for the "6 days". What day is the 7th day? Is it that you can't go over daily, or that you can't go over your total for the entire 6 days?

Everyone, think about it this way: When someone is genuinely complimenting you, they are 1. making themselves vulnerable to you to be kind enough to compliment you and 2. are essentially giving you a gift. So, by rejecting the compliment, you are in a sense, rejecting that person's kindness and willingness to be vulnerable…
-
Not at all. I graciously say thank you.
-
I think it's perfectly fine and sounds like a good plan. I do similar things.

Done my jacks and squat kicks. I did 10 jacks, 6 squat kick, and did this 5 times.
