I find it motivating when I know I can watch a tv show from the night before while I drink my French press coffee.

I think it would depend on my mood. I'm not a huge fan of either actually, although I did have ice cream tonight.

Yes, I use a digital scale for some foods, and sometimes there's more food than I expected, and sometimes there's less. I'm fairly good at guessing volume sizes though. It's probably all those years from measuring hair dye LOL.

I was thinking the same thing!

Not sure that would stop me! LOL.

If you have stairs, run and up and down them. Do knee lifts and left lifts on the bottom stair. Resistance bands are great for all kinds of exercises. A jump rope or jumping jacks are great to get the heart rate up.

I haven't made socca's in a while. I might go make some now myself and put some yogurt on them! Yum!!!

I would hope people would check in on me. I have a real life friend who hasn't been logging in, and I don't think she wants to be contacted about it, so I don't. However, I choose people on here in the hopes that they feel comfortable enough to check in.

Wow, I love this.

My husband walks to a neighborhood water ice place EVERY NIGHT and buys himself water ice. He offers it to me every time out of politeness. I always say no. He's 6'2" and weighs 153. He never tries to force me to eat anything, but he still buys stuff that is tempting to me (crackers, pretzels). Sometimes I eat it,…

Next mini challenge: Write yourself a letter on the pros and cons (I'll bet a lot of these are social cons) of eating healthy and exercising during the semester. You don't need to post it publicly unless you want to.

I signed up. I like the idea of having a buddy.

Oh, I'm sure someone has uploaded it somewhere. ;)

Oh my gosh, there's this plum jam that uses chipotle peppers in it on food.com. It's so amazing. I made a ton of last year.

scrambled tofu with bell peppers and spinach chickpea flour crepes called "socca" (google it)

Good job! Keep up the hard work.

The reason why it doesn't look like you thought it would is because your hair was already colored and lightened. The color on the box is what it looks like on virgin hair. When your hair has been lightened, it starts to have the undertones removed (reds, oranges, yellows). When you go darker on lightened hair, your hair…

You go 15 hours without eating? :(

I really like fruit and sliced almonds in my Greek yogurt.

We should have a thread on this site all about how to take clothes in ourselves. . .

A couple of years ago, I lost about 3 sizes, but only about 10 pounds. The scale doesn't work as well for people who do strength training.

I'd be curious about that as well. My goal is to get my waist to 32, but when I was about 21 and very thin, it was a 30. I'm not sure if it's realistic to try to get back to what I was when I was 21, which is why I'm aiming for a little bigger and will re-evaluate after I get there.

Great job! We need pictures! :)

I haven't owned a television for 9 years, but I waste an equal amount of time on the Internet.

Go sit in the sun for a day. This will help the color oxidize and lighten up a little. However, if you're impatient, a visit to a professional is the way to go.

I don't care for them. The texture is kind of rubbery.

My carbs are at 40%, but I always go over a little bit. I exercise hard 4-5 times a week.

Hi there. I'm a former hairstylist. Number 1: color does not lift color. If you try to put another box color on top, it won't do anything. Number 2: You're better off leaving it alone a few days. Doing too much at once will really dry it out and damage it more. 3. At this point, you have corrective color. I would recommend…

I know. I was paying 70/month for a gym I didn't use before. To me it's all about convenience. I like the price, but honestly, if a nicer gym opened in walking distance, I would probably switch. PF has too many rules.

Will post when I finally have some after pics next month.
