  • It is so much easier when you are single, my ex husband used to constantly sabotage me and pick at me about my weight he never supported me in the multiple attempts over the years to lose weight. I have friends who motivate me both here and IRL, it is hard to stay motivated when you have a lot of weight to lose but I just…
  • My kids are Quinn Darcy Keith (middle names are after my grandad and ex hubby's dad) and Aislinn Iona Paige (Iona was my grandmother's middle name). I wanted Connor and Roisin as alternate names but the ex vetoed them.
  • A few I have come across... Twinklejane, Steely Dan, a family whose surname is Ford who named their kids: Fairlane, Fairmont, Telstar and Falcon, my cousin has 6 kids all with unusual names like Fisher, River, Tussock (can't remember the other 3 LOL)
  • This is the first xmas since the ex and I split, I have no intention of spending what little money I have on him. He certainly won't spend his on me. I have told the kids to make him something. I will give them $10 each to buy something for me instead cos I am the one who does everything for them when he can't be bothered…
  • Because I have lousy taste in men? I left my marriage to a complete douche and leapt into another relationship with someone who had severe mental health issues. Now I am too burnt, can't trust myself to pick a decent guy and working on my own self so when I am ready to try again some lucky guy will get the best version of…
  • You are settling, you deserve better and so does he - everyone has the need to be loved for who they are flaws and all, if you settle you are doing yourself and him a disservice and take it from someone who settled for 13 years - you will end up miserable! The right guy for you and girl for him are out there somewhere. You…
  • The ex husband - 5 years before I left I realised I didn't love him any more. I stayed for the kids and finally this year decided I couldn't pretend any more. Recent ex boyfriend, 6 weeks after he told me he had bulimia and anxiety issues, he ruined my birthday because he couldn't cope with my children's normal kid…
  • 1: I have 3 and itching to get more 2: I got my first about 12 years ago, the second 2 years ago and the third last xmas/jan 3: I have a small angel on my trampstamp area, "just breathe" on my inner left wrist and a big nurse/knitting/floral tattoo on my right upper arm 4: Only the first one which was just flash off the…
  • I plan on getting a tattoo done when I reach my goal, I don't know what yet, I want something that represents transforming myself. In the meantime I plan on starting my back piece next year to cover up a manky tattoo I have which will be my reward for getting through a really difficult year.
  • Mine is in a closet, have hung onto it in case my daughter wanted it but now my marriage is over I don't think she will. When I was younger I wished my mum had kept hers not that I would ever have fitted it LOL. I don't see the point in dragging it from house to house any more. I just need to decided whether to donate it…
  • As everyone says it all depends on where, how big and how much pain you tolerate. I am a wuss when it comes to pain but I have 3 tattoos and planning a huge back piece for next year. My first was in the tramp stamp area and didn't hurt at all. The second was my wrist and stung but was over in 15 min, the third takes up all…
  • I met my now ex husband in the May, got engaged in August, moved in in October and were married in March. Pregnant by the following March. I thought I knew he was the right one. 13 years later I know he wasn't. I think if I got into another relationship I would want to date for a few years before considering engagement or…
  • I love being a nurse, I hate my current boss which makes me hate my job - confused?
  • My mother is exactly the same - she is a narcissistic mother. I finally have cut her out of my life completely and it is a huge weight off my shoulders. It is so hard when the person who is supposed to love you the most in the world cuts you to shreds instead. Surround yourself with people who love and support you and stay…
  • Just be honest, say you would like to be friends with her and ask her if she would like to hang out sometime. We like having guy friends too and as long as you are up front and honest with her about where you stand she will appreciate it, if she chooses not to be friends with you it is her loss.
  • On the children thing. I understand you really want them. You look young enough to have plenty of time to do that. I will say though that having children is REALLY hard work, you will have times where you think it is too hard and you were stupid to have them, they drive you up the wall constantly. It is hard enough to be a…
  • Hunny it sounds to me like he has big problems, a lot of guys can't handle it when their partner is percieved to be smarter and able to earn more than them. (I was married to one), His being out of work is probably compounding that. He is either hugely addicted to porn to make himself feel better or he is cheating. He…
  • A supportive loving husband shouldn't talk to you like this, I'm sorry but you deserve to be treated better than that. Talk to him about it and if he doesn't change his attitude I would be seriously contemplating whether he was the right man for you.
  • She obviously doesn't know gingers can be sexy too - shhh lets not pollute our gene pool ;)
  • I have a sudden craving for a Filet of fish - maybe I will have to cruise through the drive thru tomorrow:smokin:
  • damn snorted my drink all over the screen - genius!:drinker:
  • Are you dead?
  • You win the internets!
  • BBQ pulled beef sammiches with broccoslaw and oven fries :)
  • ^^ Well said Cris :drinker:
  • Honeymoon stew 1lb diced beef 1/4cup brown sugar 1/4cup soy sauce 1 jar salsa Cook on low for 8 hours Half an hour before serving add 1 can of beans (we use kidney or 4 bean mix) and 1 can corn kernals (drain the cans first)
  • I make pizza chicken Spread tomato paste over the chicken breast, add a chopped couple of slices of salami, a chopped green onion, a shake of cajun seasoning, sliced mushroom and pepper, top with shredded low fat cheese and bake until chicken is cooked. Not alot of cals and the kids love it.
  • You can love being naked and still hate your body. I was bought up to be comfortable being naked, I walk around inside my house naked alot even at my heaviest. I also skinny dip in my pool. I don't do it around anyone but the people who live in my house (my family). I certainly wouldn't be comfortable being naked in front…

  • Life without bacon is not worth living :noway: track it and be done with it. I wouldn't worry about the grease you added wouldn't have been a huge amount of calories anyway.
  • That is really sweet, I hope it works out for you both. I met one of my best friends online and he lives across the world from me, the internet is an amazing place. If you can weed through all the bullsh!t there are some great people to meet.
