1 hr of Les Mills Bodypump class.
-
Two exercises classes: pilates (1hr) and zumba (1 hr).
-
60 mins of body combat. Was so intense that every inch of me was sweating! Was good though :)
-
I'd really like to join this too please :)
-
My impatience... and crisps :ohwell:
-
60 mins of hatha yoga :)

Jump rope sounds good. How many cals do you burn when you're doing that?

I'm finding it quite difficult to find a pair of aerobic shoes I like. I've seen a pair of asics I like. I think they're classed as running shoes but the tread on them looks like they might be suited to the gym... will keep looking. Thanks for all the suggestions and ideas! Will check them all out. Would love to hear more…

I love swimming. When I first started to lose weight I used to swim 3 times a week, aiming to do X number of lengths in X amount of time [e.g. 65 lengths in 1 hr] and then trying to do it quicker and quicker. I absolutely loved it and it was a big challenge but easy on the joints. Also, it tones up every part of your body…

Hello! I've found MFP really helpful so far. It's so easy to keep track of your daily food and exercise and the boards are full of great advice and information. Good luck :)

Wow! This looks really good. I'm ashamed to say that I struggle doing 10 crunches, nevermind 500. Did you work up to that? I just downloaded the 200 situps app for my iphone. Has anyone used this?
-
That's amazing!! Very well done :)

Wow! That's impressive. Especially before a full day of teaching. I prefer to go after school... I'm thinking a session of body combat/boxercise will be a great stress reliever after a day of teaching moody and awkward teens!

Sounds great. It's good that you enjoy it too. I should take more advantage of living a minute's walk from the beach (it's lovely and sandy although typically Scottish in that it's usually very windy and cold!!).

It's great seeing all these routines. I like the idea of focusing on one muscle group per day so maybe weights focusing on arms one day and legs the next. I probably would have tried to just do them all at once. I'm normally a pilates girl but my gym doesn't have pilates at a time to suit. I've never done hatha yoga before…

Ahh that's really helpful! Thanks so much.

Haha! Thanks guys. It's great to see what everyone else does. I might add some free weights on a Monday after Zumba.
-
I did a 60 mins body combat class this morning. It was tough but good!

I attended a Legs, Bums and Tums class recently and it was an absolute killer... in a good way though. Maybe that would help. Lots of different abs exercises. I hate my belly fat so trying to combine lots of cardio and strength training to get rid of it... time will tell. Good luck :)

Maybe you should ask your doctor just to be sure? Maybe he/she can recommend something you could do to ease the pressure on your knees (special shoes or trainers, even though you are indoors)? Good luck :)

I quite fancy trying the white chocolate one too. Ah thanks. Will head to Tesco when Asda bump them back up to full price! :)

Hi :) I'm fairly new around here too. Welcome!

Hi :) I'm fairly new around here too. Loving MFP so far! Feel free to add me x

Aw thanks! I'll let you know how it goes!

That's really helpful! Thanks guys. There's a class on Wednesday night at my local gym so I'm just going to go for it! I guess I'm worried I'll look stupid and everyone will be fitter than me... but then I worried about that before zumba and combat and I was totally fine (and now love them!). I love zumba but I'm never…

I'm a High School English teacher too and my plan as of next week (when Scottish schools go back) is: Breakfast: Boiled egg on toast or bran flakes Morning break: Banana & cereal bar Lunch: Soup & diet coke After school/before going home: Apple In terms of exercise, I'm going to keep doing what I've been doing except move…

You look great! Well done x

6 days a week! That's great. Hopefully I'll be the same soon :)

I hate going to the gym so I'm just going to fitness classes at the moment, although would eventually like to start doing some free weights at the gym to tone up my arms. I do Zumba on a Monday night, Body Combat/Boxercise on a Tuesday, Legs Bums and Tums (which is an absolute killer) on a Thursday and Yoga on a Saturday.…
