Did you change the surface that you normally run on? I kept shin splints when I first started running, but they went away. I only get them now when I change running surfaces. Just keep your feet low to the ground and try not to "pound" the pavement! Good luck!

Just double checking my Friday weigh in. The chart says 134.6 instead of 131.6. Not sure if it is going to matter though because I'm back up to 134 today :explode:

I eat the Nature Valley crunchy bars almost every morning. The peanut butter ones are my favorite, but they have other flavors like oats and honey and maple and brown sugar, maybe even almond. They are not protein bars, but they are good. 200 cals I think and you get 2 crunchy bars. I leave a box at work.

When I first started running I had the same problem. Try to keep your feet as close to the ground as possible. This really helped me. Also, if you want good running shoes you need to be professionally fitted. I still haven't done this and have other injuries as a result. Good luck!!

Try it your way for a while and see what results you see. I change my cal goal sometimes when I am not seeing results. Good luck!!

Same thing happened to me!! I was 132.8 on Sat and 136.2 today!! Makes me crazy, but I know it's because I ate horribly this weekend and TOM is here! Maybe I'll have better results next week!

I was really excited about weigh in (I was down 2.5 pounds), but TOM has come for his visit and I am WAY up! Not happy now! Hopefully I can drink enough water to get it back under control!

Today was HORRIBLE! I was down to 132.8 this morning, but have eaten like a cow today!! Today was my off day (yesterday was too), but I am planning to get on the treadmill for a while when the little one goes to sleep. Hopefully I can drink enough water to compensate for eating so much!! Is weigh in Monday?

I notice that when I exercise my eating is MUCH better, but on rest days I am WAY over on calories! This is my typical week.. I go through times like this as well. When I feel that I am eating out of boredom I think about how far I've come and how I don't want to go back where I started. I also try to get outside and moving. I have a 2 year old, so she is always willing to go outside and play. Good luck!! I hope you get your motivation back!!
