So glad I just saw this thread--I got mine a few weeks ago in the mail and was wondering if I made an impulse decision to buy it and now that I saw this thread about it, I am looking forward to starting it!! I saw the commercial for it and just had to get it. Hopefully it is something I will enjoy doing...I love to dance…

I've just always used water--if it is pre-workout, I will just add about 4 oz so I can get it down quick and head to the gym. If I am making it as a meal supplement, I will use unsweetened coconut milk and then add some frozen fruit for extra sweetness--frozen black cherries are my favorite and then add in some greens too…

I cook a lot of chicken breasts and one of the best ways so far is that I trim off any fat first then I use FlavorGod spices--they are the BEST and have no sugar added to them and taste amazing and have a bunch of flavors--Everything Spicy is my favorite right next to Garlic Lovers! I turn on the oven to 450 degrees then I…

Here's something that help me on those days I just don't want to do a long session or class. Try doing a 20 minute HIIT program--either on the elliptical or treadmill. Or you can even do Tabata's--they are a very quick but extremely intense short session of exercise. This way, you can just tell yourself you don't need to…

I love ground turkey and make turkey chili with it and have also tried Jamie Eason's recipes (http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/jamie-eason-livefit-recipes-main-page.html) and they are good! I've also just cooked up a one pound package of ground turkey and seasoned it with cayenne, oregano and rosemary and have portioned…

I hired a personal trainer to show me form on the machines as well as with the free weights. I also go on bodybuilding.com and watch the videos on it of how each exercise is performed. I also try to read as much as I can about form, exercises, plans, etc. Hope that help! :)

BUMP--these are great, saving to go thru more later! Thanks!

My friend is a trainer and she just posted this on her fitness blog this morning--I am trying to keep my fruit and one or two per day tops: Yes, fruit is healthy.. but watch the unlimited fruits. Our body converts certain carbs to glycogen for energy. Glucose (oats, sweet potatoes, brown rice, quinoa) can be converted to…

I am in EXACTLY the same boat as you!!! I am asking the same questions and I have changed things up and hired a personal trainer to help me get thru this. I do some sort of cardio everyday (spinning, running, zumba, elliptical) and then take strength/toning classes and then work out with weight with my trainer 2x a week.…

I know how you feel--been at the same weight for months!!. I purposely did not weight myself for 2 1/2 months and bought a pair of pants that I could NOT button/zip and I stepped on the scale about 2 weeks ago now and the weight stayed EXACTLY the same, but the pants fit and were actually a little loose. So the body is…

Just ran my first half-marathon this Sunday and it was AWESOME! Wasn't sure what to expect especially because they were telling us that there was no headphones for the race, however, on packet pickup the day before, the instructions read that they were allowing headphones/music--thank goodness!!! This is the one piece that…

I found this saying about that: "It takes 4 weeks for you to see your body changing, it takes 8 weeks for friends and family and it takes 12 weeks for the rest of the world." I noticed the pants size change for me between 10-15 lbs. When I started losing weight, I was a size 22/24--I am not in a 10/12. I've noticed now…
