I can understand where you are coming from. I battled with a combination of anorexia and bulimia for 3 years in high school. It was hard to come out of the disease but when I stopped getting my menstrual cycle, started having eye problems, migraines and an under-active thyroid, I had to make the decision to get healthy for…

Sorry... I kinda had to do it LOL

You lost inches which means you are burning fat and sculpting lean muscle mass. For every pound of lean muscle mass, your body burns 50 calories more!
-
Also, I dont know if anyone else has noticed this, but canned soups have a lot of potassium in there as well. A lot of sodium too but a lot of potassium!
-
POTATOES!!!! TONS of potassium in there! Much more than a banana!

See your doctor! When I first started MFP, I was shaky after the first week. Turns out my calories were way too low! And if your caloric intake is too low, I *suggest* eating 20% under your TDEE. You are in the light activity category. Based on what I got from your profile (and if you are above 5'2) you could eat between…

1. Fat does not make you fat 2. Are you eating back your exercise calories that you burn? If not, you need to (since MFP is already creating a deficit based upon your daily JOB activity) 3. If you are not satisfied eating at a low calorie number (1200), I suggest creating a 20% deficit below your TDEE Go to…

The secret to losing weight: create a calorie deficit, not a surplus.

What is your total caloric goal?

Congrats to you on beating ED. I had ED for 3 years and I can tell you my mom And sister would always question my eating when I was in recovery stages. I have strong opinions against the Paleo diet but I would explain to your mom what you are doing, show her the materials so she is on board.

Try eating 20% under your TDEE (BMR x Fitness level)

30 minutes on the elliptical machine per MFP: 502 calories 30 minutes on the elliptical machine using my Polar FT7 HRM: 266 30 minutes running at 5 mph per MFP: 244 calories 30 minutes running at 5 mph per my Polar FT7 HRM: 487 calories A HUGE difference in calories!

If you can't enjoy a meal when you go out to eat, you might as well avoid going out all together. You are not going to gain 30 lbs eating one meal out. Next time, order what you want, eat until you are satisfied and take the rest home. If you are constantly questioning caloric intake and choosing a meal because it's…

this is great!! According to your spread sheet, I have been eating correctly under my TDEE :)

James Garrison, who was on the Extreme Weight Loss show, had a FB dedicated to outing the horrible tactics that they used on him in order to drop over 120+ lbs in one year. They had him abuse laxatives, sit in sauna's to sweat out water, take diuretics, fast for days, restricted on a 1000 calorie diet... The poor guy now…

When the boyfriend calls: Just the Way you Are - Bruno Mars Everyone else: Sparks Fly - Taylor Swift I can't wait until November rolls around. I love my Glee cast version of "Christmas Wrapping" LOL

If you are following MFP guidelines, you need to eat your exercise calories back. Every single calorie. They are already creating a deficit from your BMRx WORK activity level. 99% of the time, you are eating under your BMR If you are creating a deficit on your own using your TDEE (BMR x Fitness Activity Level), eat 10-20%…

I just ate 2 homemade brownies... oh wait... talking about bacon.... :P

BTW: I am 5'7 and have my calories set 20% under my TDEE with an activity level of lightly active
-
So your TDEE is roughly 2117 calories. You can eat up to that to maintain your current weight while exercising 4-5 days a week at a moderate level. I'd probably eat around 1800-1900 (10-15% deficit) calories while using your exercise burn as the other part of your deficit . Set your macronutrients to Carbs: 40 % and…

According to MFP, semen has 10,000 grams of protein LMAO  **update** Someone must have edited the food. I do have a picture on my phone to prove that at one point, it was 20 calories and 10,000 grams of protein. Bah!
