My smoothies change with what I have left. My favorite one though will always be this: small handful of frozen strawberries 1 small banana (or half a large one, eat the other half!) some fresh pineapple (a little less in volume of the strawberries) extra ice Blend together until creamy; top with whip and pomegranate. :)

I would make meals with a few different components. Maybe baked potatoes with steamed/roasted veggies and veggie burgers? When there's a few things to choose from, it won't look weird not eating a certain part of it. Sleep is good, like Cindi said.. but maybe you should just save some calories from your day so you CAN have a popsicle in the middle of the night. Even better, make your own popsicles from juice and molds. :) Grape juice ones are always really tasty.

What's scary is that it probably WASN'T including the fries. I'm always afraid of eating out.. I almost always end up with soup, nowadays. Tortilla is the best from Red Robin or Claim Jumper. :)

I think since they're noticing and pointing out specifics it makes it a little more genuine than just complimenting because they know what you're doing. Either way, there's nothing wrong with a compliment. :)

I don't know what to say about your question.. but there is nothing wrong with (brown) rice or potatoes. Don't be afraid of them! Potatoes are just a vegetable and are GOOD for you, as long as you aren't covering them in butter or mixing in milk or something. Plain potato is very good for you though, as is brown rice!
