There are lots of recipes for you to make your own soylent which may be cheaper? IDK. I hear it is sort of like runny pancake batter, and is best drunk cold. Personally I'd rather have food, but I do have a stock of meal replacement shake powders for when I've woken up too late to get breakfast, or if I've run out of food…

This. And I make a graph to see the overall trend, not the day to day fluctuations.

Try posting in the UK forum?

I've currently got Earl Grey in the pot. With a slice of lemon - good stuff

Looks better if you take it out of the pack and present it on a plate.

I'm pleased to see this thread. I'd love to have some pro HAES people on my friends list, please add me if you wish!

I'd rather be mostly near target all the time than have a cheat day where I could undo most of the week's progress. I have seen some people have the cheat day by increasing their cals to what maintenence would be, and not the "all out" approach. That might be an alternative to consider.

Every day in the morning, just before or after shower, and log on http://www.weightgrapher.com/graphs
-
Take one to your desk and eat it there? Away from the box !
-
Every morning, and smooth out variation using maths. I used to have a spreadsheet, but now just use weightgrapher.com. I measure my food too (when I'm eating at home, or at sympathetic friends' houses). I think I just like to measure stuff.

Yep. "Parent parking" is not legally enforceable so I'll d4mn well park there if I want.

Hi, I've just returned from an absence and found all my old friends here have mostly stopped logging in. New ones welcome! My diary is open to friends, the last few days are off as I was messing around with the meal titles but should be accurate from now on.
-
If your housemate has paid for the junk food then you shouldn't be eating it anyway ... cos it's not yours!
-
and this is an adult?! He needs to 'man up' and just get on with the darned dishes!! Wear gloves!
-
I picked up this book from a charity shop as I liked the recipes and was looking for a 'meal plan' thing which basically told me what to eat each day. I was pretty tired of thinking of what to eat, and the meals looked pretty tasty. I don't bother with supplements or anything like that.

My gym has a TRX thingy with straps hanging down, and whenever I'm there I think, I should learn how to do exercises on that thing, and then I could exercise at home. Since I have a suspension point. In my "dungeon".

Isn't that the point of making your food diary public?
-
drink soda water instead of your g&t?

I just did my first week 3 workout yesterday - it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be!

Me too. I've found it works out fine if I make sure I eat enough beforehand, and afterwards I'll be ok with some tea/coffee. I prioritise eating prior to play, and also eating prior to driving home if it's late at night/a long way to go. You might want to experiment with different foods so you are not stuck having…

In my opinion you need to take control of your eating back. There are other ways to establish/maintain your dynamic, without your Sir telling you what to eat especially if he is going to make unhealthy choices for you. And another thing. Aftercare does not have to involve food!!
-
Chocolate is not required for aftercare! You can have fruit, you can pack small boxes of nuts/dried fruit. You can always say no.

There is a poly group on here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/2900-poly-fit but I haven't seen anything that's directed for people who are into BDSM (I presume that's what you're referring to) If it helps, I know there are fitness groups on Fetlife.com, but honestly I don't see how it's really that relevant to…

fabulous! I've just bought cooking & fitness "for geeks" and also the geek atlas

I'm in what used to be Greens behind the Beehive centre, but is now a Nuffields. I pay £43pcm - I don't know if they have per-sesion memberships. I can bring a guest once a month, so if you're interested in having a look around without a sales person hassling you afterwards, just PM me.

I'm on the treadmill at 7km/h running and 5-5.5 km/h walking. That's 4.3mph and 3.1-3.4mph.

Wine. Cheese. My fresh home made scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam. HEAVEN ON A PLATE. The only reason I can resist eating the whole batch is that I know I can make more any time I like.

Thanks! I got it, and joined. I didn't realise when I made my name that the last two letters would be cut off! I would change it, but "bunsen_honey" might make me sound like some sort of Chemistry lab chick! Hmmm that might not be too bad actually...
