  • Hey guys, I've been on it for 2 weeks. I've posted my results so far below. Is the program easy...no. But I promise, when you see the weight coming off, it makes it easier! At first you will have to do what is called a "reset" which is basically a cleanse. It depends on your height and weight how long you will be on it. I…
  • So, today officially ended my PINK Method Reset which lasted 2 weeks. Tomorrow starts my workouts. Just for kicks, I wanted to see what my measurements were just from the diet part. Here's my stats for the past two weeks: Total pounds lost = 7 lbs., Bust = 0" lost, Waist = 2.5" lost, Hips = 0.5" lost, Thighs = 0.5" lost.…

  • Today is my 7th and I'm down 6 pounds.
  • This was day 7 of my reset and I've lost 6 pounds so far. I'm a little nervous about starting the workout part in another week. According to the book it's 35 minutes for the first three weeks, 55 for the next 3, and 75 for the last three (yes, on the Dr. Phil show they said the work outs are only 20, 30, and 40 minutes…
  • Hey ladies! I also have PCOS. I think I was diagnosed in 2004...around that time anyway. I've struggled with my weight all my life, but especially after 2001 when I was diagnosed with an eye disorder and had to be put on steriods. I gained a lot of weight from those stupid meds. I've never been able since that time to get…
  • Wow! You look so awesome! Thanks for the inspiration :) I'm 28 and will be 29 in March. I have mostly spent my 20's in the 200's except for about a year when I was 25 I got really healthy and started running and got to about 180. Long story short I was trying to get into the military but could not meet their weight…

  • Thanks so much for your reply. I have been very frustrated because I eat healthy and exercise but don't see any results. Since I started taking the Metformin THIS WEEK, I've already lost 1.5 pounds. So I have to say, it has to be helping me somewhere. I can say that it does kinda make me feel queesy, but I'm hoping this…
  • That is so great! Keep up the great work!! A few years ago I started eating really healthy and running I didn't lose much weight honestly, but I went from a size 18 to 12 / 14. You can't always measure success by the scale, but it sounds like you are shedding the pounds and the pants sizes! Congrats!!
  • I started Metformin today. None of my doctor's had put me on it before. Lo and behold I go for my yearly woman's exam yesterday and a nurse practioner is actually the only one who I feel like has ever listened to me. I've even seen a fertility speicialist for this and they never suggested Metformin for me. So I'm really…
  • Ok, I think I'm all caught up. I did 100 this morning, which was not as easy as I thought! :)
  • OK, I just did 50 to catch up to you all from Days 1 & 2. I will do Day 3 as well today!
  • I just saw this post and I know I'm a few days late, but I hope I can still join! What a great motivator and idea!!
  • Thanks everyone so so much! You all have great ideas. I just need to start questioning wait-staff about how the food is prepared and such. One of you all suggested ordering half-salads and entrees and I do actually do that when I see it as an option on the menu. I have also stopped ordering fries/ tots/ chips with anything…
  • I have Chondromalcia and I wear knee straps, not knee braces, when I walk or ride my bike. I also found that the Bowflex Tredclimber is easy on my knees, but sadly I do not have one of my own due to the outrageous cost. I just try to do low impact activities. I don't avoid hills when I walk but I just don't do as many as I…
  • Anyone else have Tinea Versicolor with PCOS?? This is kind of off the topic of weight loss, but in regards to PCOS...does anyone else have Tinea Versicolor? This is a skin discoloration. For me it starts on the back of my neck and spreads down my shoulders and chest. Anyway, I got rid of it and then it JUST came…
  • Thank you for sharing your story. Your story really touched me because I also used to be married to someone who always critized my weight and ultimatley left me, partly do to the infertility (he ended up impregnating another woman). It sounds like your hubby was willing to be educated and try to learn about your condition.…
  • I'm so glad I found this thread! And I love the term Cysters. My name is Jamie and I'm 28. I was reading through some of the earlier posts and I have to say, that even though my friends and family may not totally undertand PCOS, I am lucky to have their support. For those of you that don't have support, or maybe like me,…
