I made it t L3D1 and had to stop. My right knee is in some serious pain and now swollen. My husband said it looks like "Water on the knee" whatever that is so I am calling my Dr. today to see when I can get it. I am really sad that I have to stop. I was doing so good and feeling great about myself regardless of seeing the…

I just finished L2D9 and could barely complete it due to knee pain. My endurance is awesome now but my knees really hurt. I read that knee pain is usually due to weak leg muscles? I am not an expert. I am really hoping Level 3 does not injure me or cause me to stop. I have done so good thus far.

Came home from work and got L2D9 done. My knees are killing me! They aren't sore they HURT! My quads were sore the first few days of L1 but this really hurts. I had to modify some of the moves like the pendulum lunges I just did regular lunges and only half way. I hope I haven't injured myself. I am I the only one with…

I hate guilt or feeling guilty. I am still so tired even though I was actually asleep before 10pm, I am usually just getting IN bed at that time. I had a hard time waking up and when I finally got up I was still tired so I have decided it would be better for my body to work out at lunch or even after work. I think if I…

I looked into Ripped in 30 and plan on doing that before I move on to a Beachbody workout. I like the way these are set up and Ripped is similar to the shred without being repetitive. I just hope Jillian has some new sayings because I can't take hearing "phoning it in at the gym" anymore! :noway:

SO did not want to get out of bed this morning and do L2D8, but I did, even though I woke up 45 minutes late. My knees are hurting lately and I think it may be how deep I am going into the lunges/squats but if I don't go that deep I feel like I am not doing enough. I am super tired today, body and mind tired. Not a…

Good for you! I am going to try Ripped in 30 after I finish this as well. My 4yr old loves to do the workout with me. He asks who I am and who he gets to be (out of the three on the screen), I always tell him he is the boss! He loves it and is a great personal trainer!

I would go with your staring weight and then your weight at the 30 days and that is your loss. Good for you either way. I can't get that darned scale to move for me!

Thanks, I know and I try to fit so much in the day and still get my rest, workout, cook homemade/healthy, be a wife, mother, employee...LOL. Phew! It is so odd that sleep and weight loss are tied together. I doubt I can fit anything extra in, at least not at the same rate I am doing the shred. I plan on continuing after…
Sara, I wouldn't give up sleep to get more cardio in. Being sleep deprived isn't good for weight loss or for daily functioning. Bravo for you sticking with it when your friends "Bailed " on you. Your experience is why I've never had a workout partner. People say they want to train with me, and I invited them to…

Got up late this morning but still completed L2D6! Holy Moly! I can tell that I am doing better, endurance is up, sweating is less and today I took zero breaks. But man those plank jacks are not fun to do or to see my thighs in the middle of the movement! I have thought of adding in some extra cardio since I am not seeing…

I am experiencing the same thing! Only 2lbs lost so far but I can see real definition in my stomach, arms and legs. My legs feel much stronger and my husband says I am "getting some guns" when he feels my arms. I know my endurance is improving as well but it gets frustrating not to see that scale move. I am trying to stay…

New to the group but also on day #15, Level 2 Day #5. Level 2 is certainly harder than I thought but I also a great workout! I can actually do the cardio and not give up but the planks are kicking my butt! I can see definition in my lower stomach and that is awesome. I am not losing as much as I thought, only 2lbs so far…

Day #2 of level 2 and I have to say it is kicking my butt. I bit easier today because I knew what to expect but holy moly! I was on top of the world finishing level 1 and now I am back to where I started. I thought it would be tough but I actually yelled at the TV! :O) I have lost a few pounds as of this morning so I am…

Day #10 done, Level 1 done! I feel awesome! No weight loss which is a bit discouraging but the way I feel about myself beats the dumb number on the scale. I skimmed through Level 2 and though it looks tough I am confident I can do it.

Doing good and completed Day #8 today!! Almost done with Level 1. I feel better and my body feels better but sadly no weigh loss yet. I did have to tighten my belt yesterday but I have decided to hide the scale and any measuring devices until the 30 days are done. I started out with 2lbs and on day 5 switched to 3lbs. Some…

I'm definitely looking forward to level 2 if only to hear something different. I think I might play my own music over the DVD today as I've feel like I know the script after 4 times round!
Same here, isn't that right buddy? I love the workout but the music and dialogue could use a serious overhaul!

I felt really guilty about not getting up this morning so I plugged it on and got my day #5 done! I made it through all the pushups finally with a little help, I had to position my feet against the couch so I did not slip, and it made the world of difference! This was the first workout I have not taken a break or…

Today is my day off, I am on a4/10 schedule for another week. I completely overslept while cuddling with my 4yr old son. I will do day #5 sometime today. I feel like something is missing without doing it this morning. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing yet.

I enter it the same way.

Day #4 - 40% of Level 1 completed! Today was a lot easier than I expected. Besides waking up almost an hour later than I should have I got up and did what I have challenged myself to do. I didn't sweat nearly as much but that could have been due to the house being almost 6 degrees cooler than normal. I did complete one set…

I wear shoes. I thought about not wearing them but so far it is working out. I tried Bob Harpers without shoes and the jumping hurt my ankles.

Day 3 done. I noticed a considerable change in my endurance. I was able to get through the Jumping Jacks without stopping or it hurting my hips. Pushups are still tough and I do take one 5 second rest so my back doesn't hurt. My quads are still sore but that is lessening as well. I feel stronger just after 3 days and look…

I started the 30DS yesterday too! I was really skeptical about it working but after two workouts my quads are so sore I really think it will work. I joined MFP today to help track my eating. My goal is to get through these 30 days. I have never challenged myself this way. I have to get up at 4:30 -5:00am to get my…

On day #2 of 30. When I first viewed this video I really thought it would be a piece of cake, I was wrong. My quads are so sore I can barely sit down at work or give my 4 year old a bath! Today was a bit easier because I knew what to expect. I have to modify a few things because of lower back problems but I have done both…
