Happy New Years from Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada :)

I have been fighting bronchitis the last 2 weeks, and am still feeling like poop. Plus no babysitter!
-
And..Kelly - 40?
-
Nooo haha, 23! I always look older with weight loss :(, need my chubby cheeks back.
-
Longbow...far away picture but... 45?

I'm 5'4 and my ideal weight is probably 120 (currently 132). Although I think I may stop at 125 and just try to tone up a bit...I don't want to get too skinny and lose my lady lumps! My body also seems to not want to get much further than 125 in the past so I may just be happy there.

Inability to compromise.

You're listening to music.

Knew him in high school, and then we started dating first year of University <3.
-
You look amazing!

That's just mean. Think about about all of the people here who are working hard and maybe had an off day and said a side comment. Or someone who maybe has an eating disorder and is just used to thinking that about themselves and then you go say something like that. Even if it's attention seeking it's better to just leave…

Heh. Been in Canada all my life, and don't have much to go on besides my experiences here and what I have heard from others. Our wait times can get a little bit ridiculous...including the emergency room. I don't know that I would trade the free health care, but definitely something I ponder. Would sometimes love to be able…

Totally in!

I'm a single mom living on a student's budget while going to university so I'm on around the same budget ($50ish a week). I just spent 4 days making slow cooker meals of stuff I had laying around in various stews and soups and freezing them in individual portions for lunches once the new semester starts. Some examples -…

And I love this idea! Totally doing the 1/2 dollar days. Such a good way to reward yourself and do something responsible (mines a travel fund...one day I will have enough! haha)

I only log my "serious" workouts - those that I explicitly go for a workout (e.g., hot yoga, runs). I do lots of other active things during the day with my almost-7 year old (sports, running around, etc.), but I never log it. I do eat back the calories from my real workouts as my deficit would be too large otherwise, and…

Ready to do this the right way - all the way through! I keep failing halfway through when I let life get in the way. But I know this will help with my last 10 pounds so having a group to remind me will be awesome. Pictures and measurements on the first!

I'm a huge tea drinker, and pretty much try all kinds. Some I enjoy: - cream of earl grey (variation of EG that's really yummy) - peppermint tea/mint melanges - black currant black tea - various rooibos (vanilla, colada, blueberry, etc) - orange oolong - pomegranate white tea I pretty much just go into tea stores and order…

I have mucho books on my kindle, many of them I downloaded for free. Will put some type of list up shortly..

I think for me personally I will always have to be careful how I think about food now. I can go without the behaviours associated with the ED, but my thought patterns are always skewed from what they should be. Quieting those thoughts that are bad about myself/what I'm eating/wanting to purge is probably something I'll…
-
It started when I was 13... so just under 11 years now.
-
It takes will power to get through those first couple times of feeling uncomfortable. After purging so often you get used to feeling that empty stomach feeling, and you need to be prepared that the first couple times you don't purge after eating it will be uncomfortable. But after that you start to realize what true full…

I will eat something I want in a very small amount, and if that doesn't work I drink a cup or two of tea and that helps to curb the craving... especially yummy teas (creme of earl grey, peppermint). There's a million other things to do as well.. go for a little walk, appreciate how pretty it is, play a video game, journal…

Over a decade... I started as bulimic, then transitioned to anorexic briefly, and then ended up on a mix between the two (restrictive with purging). So they labelled it EDNOS since it changed over time.
-
Hi there! I'm 23 years old, and have been dealing with bouts of bulimia and/or restrictive eating for almost...10 years now. I have been relatively* stable for the last 2 or 3 years after I finally sought help from my doctor. I have always had issues surrounding food, and MFP has become a way I can try to be healthy about…

I've been going for about 5 months - not just Bikram but a hot yoga place that offers a bunch of different types of hot yoga (Hatha, Power, Ashtanga, etc.) I absolutely *love* it but I haven't been able to get anyone else to go with me as much as I like to haha. I aim for around 3-4x a week, and no one I know likes to…

Double post.

I have too many to name (12 in all the last count I think). I love tattoos and each one of them tells a little bit about my life at the particular time in which I got it. I have removed one tattoo, but that was more to investigate the procedure of tattoo removal (in the case I change my mind about some of them when I'm…
