My doc also prescribed a high dose of vitamin D after a physical a few years ago. Even though I get plenty of sunshine! D3 is on my regular vitamin routine ever since.

@deepwoodslady - You have so many doctors that I'm sure some consistency and a reference guide for yourself would come in handy. Good luck! Oh and in my chart I highlight the number if there is a concern ... like yellow borderline and orange if I've dipped my toe into the wrong side of the number and then red is my danger…

@dawnbgethealthy - I'm taking Meloxicam 15 mg once per day. You cannot take aspirin or ibuprofen style meds with it ... only Tylenol (Acetaminophen). It has definitely helped with the swelling inside the knee. I skipped it for a week when my insurance plan changed and I could tell ... so glad to get the prescription back…

@deepwoodslady - I have no idea how much protein I need but I do know that when I use it as a snack it holds me over better than anything else.
