Are you logging your food intake? If so, are you sticking to your calorie goal? For weight loss purposes, it doesn't matter if your food is healthy or "bad". If MFP tells you that, in order to lose 1 lb per week, your daily calorie goal is 1500, and you're eating 1500 calories per day consisting of fast food and cookies,…

Then I guess you've never been to a Yankee Candle store! ;) Same here! Bath & Body Works makes a salted caramel candle that literally makes my mouth water.

A few questions: 1. What do you feel is different about Herbalife (vs the other meal replacements that you've tried), meaning, what is the magic secret that Herbalife has that other replacements are missing? 2. Do you plan on being on Herbalife forever, and if not, how are you preparing/educating yourself for when you…

All weight loss programs--MFP, Weight Watchers, Adkins, Nutrisystem, Jenny Craig, even Slimfast--work while you're following them, and stop working when you stop following them. Oh. I meant actual studies or articles from medical journals, not blogs or WebMD postings. But that's fine. But I thought it was a proven fact that people can't do it alone? Sorry...I just have a problem with people presenting things as fact that in reality, are not. It happens here a lot.

Before I came to MFP, I was a member of WW. I did much better doing the online program on my own, being accountable only to myself, than I did when I was going to meetings and had to get weighed in front of someone. I think that having an "accountability buddy" vs being accountable only to yourself is personal preference.…

^^This is me as well. Breakfast is by far my favorite meal of the day. So I guess that makes it most important to me, but for everyone? No. Bacon is full of sugar? Hmm. The package of Oscar Mayer Thick Cut Bacon in my fridge says "not a significant source of....sugars". *shrugs*

Weight loss is not linear. There will be weeks when you do everything right and the scale will show a gain. This won't be the last time you see the scale go up when you feel like it should've gone down, but it all evens out over time. A gain of a pound is nothing to stress over. Could be water retention from exercise, or…
