I'm stopping the medication next week, but want to add people who are going through the same thing for accountability. I was already 15 pounds overweight before starting the meds, but gained an extra 10 once on them.
My daily recommended calories are at 1200. Fitness pal has my macros set at 55% carbs, 25% protein, 20% fat. Can I lower my carbs to 30% with no ill effects, or should I continue on my default macros?
I've been logging my food and exercise for the past two weeks, and I've lost five pounds so far. (Yay!) Left to my own devices, I only take in 500 calories a day, average. I upped my calories to 1100 (goal is 1400 but that's impossible!) But I'm starting to suffer burnout already. I just don't eat like "normal people". I'm…
So my goal is to lose about 15 pounds of fat. I also want to gain muscle tone. Should I stick to straight up cardio until I lose the fat, or can I start doing weight/strength training now? I've been fit before, but I'm older now (25) and on steroids for allergies that made me gain weight.
