March 2015 I woke up and decided to run 1 mile. It took me 14 minutes and I thought I was going to die. I kept running and running and running, losing 40 lbs in the process. Fast forward to last Sunday, I got 1st place in my age group at a 5k race. Race photo below.
I started running and generally not eating like a moving dumpster at the beginning of the year and have dropped 32 lbs. I am new to MFP because to lose the last little bit of weight I need to be more aware of what I am eating. Below is a before and now pic. Just wanted to introduce myself.
