Been awhile...
...since I introduced myself. I’m 36, and I’ve lost close to 50 lbs. in the last 16 months. I am now doing weight training and liking the results (was only doing cardio previously). I’m on MFP every day, and I like to post and interact regularly. Feel free to connect!

Runners...best shoes?
For outdoor running, what’s the best brand of running shoes? I’ve only used Nike, but someone recommended Brooks to me recently. Have also seen serious runners with Saucony shoes...what do you recommend?

New exercise(s)...
What new exercise have you picked up recently that you’re now into? It’s hard for me to get excited for any of my workouts besides basketball at this point...I’m open to suggestions. I also run and hit a heavy bag.

Breaking through a plateau
Any success stories on breaking through a plateau? I haven’t lost any additional weight in the last couple of months. What can I do to break through? For those that have broken through a plateau, what worked for you?

How many have lost over forty lbs. without their partner being involved? Mine hasn’t don’t much to lose weight...I’ve lost 45. Definitely would make it easier to stay motivated if she was interested. Thoughts?

Lost 45 lbs. in a year with MFP and exercise
One of my progress pics is my profile pic. I still have a ways to go...want to lose at least 25 more lbs...but I’m at my lowest weight since high school. Feels amazing.
