Hey! Im just get started calorie counting after trying half heartedly through January and ending up 2lb gained!! I need advice, when is the best time to weigh? Weekly? Monthly? Whst do you recommend?

What should I look out for on food labels?
Hi, Im fine at tracking calories but unsure what to look out for with fat and sugar in foods. My goal is to lose weight, so is there a % per 100g to follow? Or any other guidelines? Im not getting anywhere just counting calories.

Hey Ive just setup a profile with mfp and input my details. Its given me a calorie goal of 2070 cals per day with the aim to lose 1lb a week. Im 5 ft 8 and 245lbs. Does this seem high for loss? I also input exercise 3x week. Any advice would be great!
