I want to eat 3 instead of 2 Will this make a huge difference for dieting. I’m actually thin right now but I don’t really want to gain weight

let’s say I eat a ton of fat every day, but still eat less than my desired calorie goal. Does this matter? Do you gain a ton of weight due to this?
Just wondering. Let’s say you eat 1700 calories, but most of it is fat, sugar and basically unhealthy food. Would you mark that down as a successful day?
